Walked up from the fair grounds campground but the dining room was closed by 8:15pm. I was looking forward to a Blizzard, but it wasn’t worth walking back and unhitching the trailer. I got a pint of Blue Bunny at the gas station next door instead. The place looks popular with the locals, but if you’re stopping overnight (to camp or Motel 6) you had better stop here before parking for the night.

Every time I want some good ice cream, I head to DQ. The staff is very nice and quick with orders. The couple times that I’ve gotten food with my ice cream, it’s fresh, hot and tasty. Thank you DQ!!!

Came in for a quick bite, store was pretty quiet only two other tables. Facility was reasonably clean but it took a few minutes for someone to take our order. Employees were younger and were wrapped up in conversation amongst themselves. After finally ordering we sat down and waited a good 12-15 minutes before our food arrived. This seemed excessive considering there was no orders in front of ours. The food was hot and the order was correct but the wait time was a bit excessive. On this particular visit I believe a little more attention to customer service would have been beneficial.

Drive through took a bit…oh wait I went inside. It was ok. Food was DQ standard. The one thing I liked about the inside and which reminded me that I didn’t drive through was the historical pictures on the wall. Pretty cool.
