Impulse visit on Christmas Eve, and what a pleasant surprise! The employee team was incredible, spreading Christmas cheer to everyone who walked in. Upbeat, positive, cheerful, but professional at the same time. The food? Superb! The peppermint bark blizzard was perfect! First time we’ve ever been here, and we’ll be back!

10/10 would recommend this place and staff. After a long day of work me and my boyfriend decided to get a taste of home (if you’re from Texas you’ve seen the DQ commercials) and decided to stop and see. Definitely hit the spot! There was a little hiccup with our order and they handled it super smoothly and professionally while also keeping things fun and chill. All the staff were super chill, fun to talk to and made everything fast and fresh. Will be the only Dairy Queen location I plan on visiting in the springs for sure.

I usually don’t not write reviews like this but today I feel I have to. I ordered my food online and when I got to the store no one created me or serviced me. Two men were arguing o the right of the counter about blizzard cup locations and didnt acknowledge me or offer help. A young lady who was running the fryers actually ended up helping me. Once I got back to the office to eat I only had onion rings in my container and no sauce. I got a 3 chicken tender meal with onion rings but I didnt recieve any chicken. With 3 people working Im not sure how this was messed up. Very poor service and food.

Went in to get 2 large blizzards a pappermint bark and a cookie dough and when brought to us they were smalls and not the correct orders at all. Spoke with the cashier about the issue and she wanted to tell me we didn’t other those or the sizes… Explained to her we have the receipt stating what we ordered, she then told us we didn’t need to give her attitude which we didn’t. she then made 2 new ones and still not even the correct orders. Didn’t even get the cookie dough and the peppermint bark had cookie dough pieces in it. We just wanted what we ordered made correctly and even after being remade twice they were still wrong. Not the first time this has happened at this location. We will not be returning to this location anymore.

Christian and Justin helped me out tonight, even though they were getting completely ran through, dealing with ignorant doordashers and balancing multiple orders at once; they did so great. Every single person that entered the restaurant was greeted promptly and as they were leaving greeted with a warm goodbye. Truly hope they can get some sort of recognition for the work they put in for working a holiday like Christmas Eve with such grace.

Im honestly really sad i have to add this review because i love this location especially the night shift, the food is always good and so is the ice cream.
This review is about a cake i ordered.
On April 23rd 2025 around 130-230pm i called the store to place an order for a cake because i couldnt order the one i wanted online. I dont remember the person i talked to but it was a guy. He got all the info about the cake i wanted and when i wanted it and said it would be ready. Well some of my plans changed so i called them back May 2nd between 6-8 pm and talked to a gal (i also dont remember her name) and i was asking if i could change the size of the cake. She said sure and i gave her the info for the cake and she couldn’t find it she even contacted the cake person who had no idea about the cake i ordered. So she took the info for the cake again. She was extremely helpful and thankfully i called again. Well today May 11th i went in to pick up the cake a few minutes after 2pm (pick up was scheduled for 2pm). I told the guy at the register i had a cake for Lillyann at 2pm and we went to look and brought me someone else cake and i explained that wasnt mine. Mine had Purple borders and writing that said “Happy birthday mom”. He took the cake back and came back asking if i was at the right store and i confirmed i am and he went back and grabbed the same cake and it was wrong and so he went and grabbed the supposed manager. The manager came and talked to me and i described the cake. He also GRABBED THE SAME CAKE THAT WASNT MINE. I told him it wasnt mine, the one i ordered was royal cheese cake blizzard and he left and came back asking if it had purple boarders (i had told him it did earlier) i confirmed and he went to the back again. I heard metal rustling which meant the cake wasnt even ready. The manager came out with purple frosting saying he just needed to put writing on it. He brought the cake back and the writing was horrible. He put the cake in a bag and told me have a good day and started helping someone else and i waited till he wasn’t busy to inform him i hadnt paid for the cake yet. He then rung it up and gave me a 5% discount (less than 2$) and said sorry. Later when we got the cake out and went to eat it i saw just how bad the writing was and was so upset and wanted to cry because i just kept having issues getting this cake and it was supposed to be special for my moms birthday. Sadly tho the looks matched the taste it tasted like a freezer and not really like the strawberry cheesecake blizzard. I wont be getting cakes from DQ anymore ill just stick with Cold stone.
Spent almost 40$ on a cake that was wrong and not even ready and needed to be ordered multiple times.

This Dairy Queen in particular is a special one. You can tell by the way they treat you here. You can just feel it when you go in that the atmosphere is friendly.
I haven’t tried DQ’s grill food in years, but they have obviously been working on improving the quality of it. Cheese curds? Good burgers? Yes! It was the perfect ending to a Saturday spent outside working on the car.

The night shift crew (Christian, Justin, and another worker) were all amazing and working through the night rush as fast as they could while maintaining their quality of work and communication with customers. Christian was working quick, greeting customers, and maintained great work ethic during our time there. I applaud the night shift team and strongly believe they all should be recognized for their hard work!
