Manager on duty on 11-2-25 (afternoon) sent everyone home because they weren’t busy, she was telling everyone. She had a terrible attitude and was yelling. She locked both doors so nobody could come inside, but then none of us could exit. The gentleman ahead of us called her out on locking the doors as he said he was on fire dept. She got all upset and started yelling at him as he walked out the door. It was very awkward and strained for us, and we felt sorry for the other employees as she treated them terrible.

They forgot one sauce and the manager lost her marbles saying “I’m the manager I put the sauce in the box” even tho it wasn’t there and she tried to make me pay twice for one sauce luckily a crew member employee finally gave me my sauce i thanked her and left. Food is always pretty good but management not so much.

Dairy Queen on West O is getting a bit old but still well kept up. The food is decent fir the price. I like Runza icecream better, but the deals on the 2 for $5 or $6 menu for the grill are very reasonable! My 6 year old loves the Chicken strip kids meal. We went there after church today and for 4 adults and three kiddos it was under $35.

Have been going through the drive thru hoping my experience would be different. Every time I go through its late and either 30mins-10mins before they close due to my job. Every experience I was told kitchen is close only serving ice-cream. I spoke to the GM a few days later on my next day off. I was told they service food all the way till close and that she will be talking to her staff about it. Few weeks go by and I try again. Same thing kitchen is close only serving ice-cream. Made me mad but I let it go that time. Went last week and didn’t realize they changed hours from 10:30p to 10p and I arrived at 10:02p let that go since yes google can be wrong on hours and they had it on their door sign. Went tonight and met with the same rude attitude Sorry kitchen is close only serving ice-cream. This time I spoke up and told them I’ve talked to the GM once before and she let me know that’s a lie. The manager on duty just kept repeating the same thing so I ask for a name and he responded with pull to the window please, so I did. Got to the window and was met with the same rude attitude and same thing Kitchen is close so either order ice-cream or leave. He then slammed the window on me and then came back realizing I havent left. I asked for his name and he responded with leave or I’m calling the cops in a rude attitude. Very bad service and I hate going there but it’s the only closes location to my house unless i wanna drive in the opposite direction. I will be stopping in tomorrow to speak with the GM once again and will be reaching out to corporate as well about this. If they have cameras you can see how aggressive and rude the person was while I stayed calm the entire time. All he was worried about was getting off the clock right at closing to go home he said.

We had taken our car into the shop about a block down the street and decided to walk down and have a dairy Queen while we were there. Everything was perfect. The staff was extremely friendly. It was very nice and relaxing. Just sitting there eating our ice cream.

The food is always super delicious and tasty! But when we went the doors were locked and there was no explanation at all as to why. At least put up a piece of paper telling us why the doors weren’t open.
