I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to grab an ice cream cake and was greeted by a very friendly employee.. he took the time to explain each ice cream cake case. It’s nice to see great customer service especially nowadays. Great people working here! Oh, and the ice cream cake was delicious 🙂

Has gone so far downhill since the new owners I’ll go to sonic for ice cream now. Food is good but service is slower and slower and mistakes are greater and greater. Don’t order online unless you have 20 or more minutes longer than the app says it will be ready. To quote other locals “just go to Sonic” that way will at least have one place left in Lyons.

If I could give a zero I would. I ordered a Reese’s fluff sm blizzard and a chocolate shake, one the shake didn’t have any chocolate in it the teenager that made it said there was but it was still Vanilla with a hint of chocolate. The blizzard was made wrong at first then when she brought it back it was still made wrong. But I had already wait 20min to get it I didn’t want to wait any longer. Think they need to get people in there that know what they are doing know how to make a chocolate shake. I will never stop at this place again and I would advise that everyone make sure your stuff is made right.. photo of the vanilla shake that was supposed to be chocolate..

DQs are known for their ice cream. And this facility should stick to just selling that.
Their food service is lacking the “yummy factor” it’s actually horrible.
The hamburger patties are thin enough to read through. Their French fries were old tasting and cold. The cheese curds were not cooked. The batter was soggy and greasy.
Our drinks, 4 of them. Didn’t have enough ice in the cup for 1 drink. Not along for 4 each.
Bottom-line. Try their ice cream. Because their food is not worth the price or the frustration of ordering through the drive thru. Which their speakers don’t work.
Just keep driving. Just keep driving .

We are in this evening, I had the chicken strip basket. The fries were cold and tasted old. The gravy seemed old and was chunky too and cold. The chicken strips are usually golden brown but they had a grey color to them and tasted nasty. I won’t be coming back to eat for food again this place used to be so much better.
