We have always loved our Augusta dairy queen. But today we decided we love them even more. I called to order my 8 year old daughter a flamingo cake. They did not have flamingo cakes in their book online. But they were happy to make her one. When I ordered three days ago I had no idea what we would actually get and boy let me tell you this is the most darling cake I could have even imagined! Thanks DQ! We loved it and it tasted delicious. We will be back to visit soon.

I ordered via the app for curbside pickup. I got there at my appointed time and called the number like you are supposed to. Now, yes it was 4:30 on a Tuesday afternoon, but I waited for 15 minutes with no food delivered. At that point I went in, upset. I waited several minutes before anyone helped me. There was one person on the window, one on the front counter and one sweeping in the grill area with a headset on. She is the only one who helped me (after finishing sweeping and putting her broom away). My food was all made and sitting in the warmer. Just sitting there. Not sure why the girl who helped me couldn’t bag it up and bring it out. All I can think is that the guy (Jeff) never let the crew up front know I was there to pickup my order. Hopefully it was a one off and they’ll be better next time.

Usually I have had no complaints but today I was disappointed. I got the bbq chicken strips and normally they are coated but these looked like they had sauce drizzled. Normally there is gravy with it and today there was none. Hopefully this is a rare occurrence.

I ordered by phone an ice cream cake for a 7 yr old boy. I said he liked sharks. I do not live at Augusta so a friend picked it up. When I pulled it out at the party it had BABY SHARK! For a 7 year old! He was not impressed. Then I went today. Tried to use the app for the Blizzard special. It would not pull up. There was a line so she just rang them up. As soon as I stepped away from the counter the code came up and she said it was to late ,she couldn’t do anything about it. This DQ use to be the best but over the last year or so it’s worse every time we stop in.

We ordered an ice cream cake for my daughter’s birthday and I spelled out her name and had them verify it. Her name was misspelled in the cake. We requested blue lettering and got red. Fortunately it still tasted good.

Waited 14 minutes at the window. They gave us our drinks and ice creams and we had to wait for the food. When it arrived and I remarked that our ice cream is melted, I got a “sorry, have a good day” & the window closed in my face.
