After attending a basketball game in town, we decided to stop in for a quick dinner as it was getting a little late before heading back home. We were just expecting “fast food”, but to our surprise we were welcomed with incredible service from the staff who treated us as if we were good friends making conversation with us, food served quickly (but still hot and fresh!), and convenience all at once. Even on our way out, the staff took care of us telling us to have a good night. Very happy with our visit and wish more establishments were this pleasant and enjoyable! Thank you to the team working tonight who took care of us. 🙂

Locally owned, locally ran, and you can for sure tell! This is one of the best Dairy Queen’s you’ll ever stop at. Friendly service that is glad to see you walk in and happy to take your order. Food is always hot and fresh. Service is very fast. I enjoy stopping here and patronizing this business!

I stop here a couple times a year on my way through Vandalia. I tried to stop here tonight at about 9:15 pm and was told they were closed when they’re supposed to be open until 10. If it had been really close to that I would have understood, but this was 45 minutes before closing. Service gets three stars because I’ve never had a problem before, but tonight was one star service.

I ordered a single chili cheese dog. Much to my surprise it was 5.84! I will say that it was super fresh but entirely so salty that I was unable to finish it. The prices have gone up so much we can barely afford to eat there anymore. They are so professional there and the place is spotless always. But, that does not make up for paying almost 6 dollars for a hot dog with chili/cheese.

I’m not sure why i keep coming here because 99% of the time when i ask for no tomato i have to pick it off myself. at least this time they made it without like I’ve asked but if they would work on the sauce and bacon placement they’d deserve two stars.

Stopped here going and returning from Springfield IL. Had a great lunch on Tuesday and stopped for ice cream coming home. The people there were very friendly, and delivered very tasty meals. The woman taking our orders smiled when she greeted us and was very polite and professional. The atmosphere was also light and happy. The property was clean inside and out although the streets needed some repair. A very pleasant experience.

Love love love this dq the workers amazing especially the teen girls they’re so sweet always telling me how much the love my outfits and one time I didn’t have exact change (it was pay day but not till later that day so I was broke broke) but i thought i had enough for one of their breakfast sandwiches i ended up being 10 cents short no biggie I was going to go check my car for it bc as an 8 month pregnant lady when you’re craving something you gotta get it well bf I could even go back to my car to look this young lady told me “don’t worry about it you deserve this sandwich ill cover it” me thinking she just ment the 10 cents till she handed me back all $4 I told her she didn’t have to but she smiled and said “think of it as my good dead of the day” made my whole day so yeah definitely a very lovely DQ and they give free ice cream during school time to the daycare and the kids in elementary school any business that carring of their community can have my business everyday of the week BIG BIG SHOUT OUT TO THE DQ OUT HERE
