Asked for easy flamethrower sauce my sandwich was so cover in sauce I couldn’t eat it. Went to go get my food remade and was told they would not remake the sandwiches because it wasn’t their fault. Like excuse me y’all made the burgers. So I asked for a refund and was told no because I didn’t have my receipt I asked them to find it was only in there about 15 mins ago and was told they couldn’t bring up old receipts. Very very trash service and people.

I placed my order via their app. When I arrived 10 minutes later nothing was ready. I had time to look into their prep area from the counter. It was so filthy. There was many different ice creams sitting opened, on top of the chest freezer. They had been there a while. Condensation was puddled and running off the freezer. The station they have all the toppings in, I can not describe how nasty that was. Vomit worthy. 20 minutes later I finally get our order. Everything we ordered was there. However, we were scared to eat it.

I ordered a Carmel frappe and both times I have ordered at the Benton Illinois restaurant I got mocha frappe. I called back again and was told by some foreign lady that was what I ordered I told her no. She refused to make it right. I have ordered Carmel frappes from Christopher and Johnston city and got exactly what I ordered Carmel frappes not mocha. Went through the drive-through ordered a Sundea dipped cones, they were the smallest I’ve ever seen and they dipped a quarter of the cone so it was sticky as it doesn’t get a hard shell. Made a mess for my kids and it wasn’t because of melted ice cream. I expected better.

Manager / owner(?) Came in ,told a couple of employees to get trash picked up..food was awesome..from my point of view ..manager did what was needed. Benton dairy queen has always been very good. Mt. Vernons is not..sadly.
