Unprofessional Staff, Poor Service, and Mediocre Food
I recently visited this Dairy Queen location, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The biggest issue was the lack of professionalism from the staff. More than half of the employees visibly had an attitude — not just disinterested, but annoyed to be working at all. The energy at the counter was tense, and it carried over to the customers waiting to order.
I genuinely felt bad for the cashier assisting me. She seemed overwhelmed, not because she didn’t care, but because she was trying to do her job without proper training or support. Instead of one experienced employee calmly guiding her, multiple coworkers began giving directions at the same time, which only made things more confusing and uncomfortable for everyone in line. It was frustrating to watch, and it clearly stressed her out further.
The food itself did little to make up for the unpleasant service. Everything we ordered tasted mediocre at best — nowhere near what Dairy Queen is normally known for. Quality was lacking, and nothing seemed made with care.
Overall, the combination of disorganized management, negative staff attitudes, and below-average food makes this location not worth the time or money. I hope the management team takes steps to improve staff training, teamwork, and customer service, because right now, I will not be returning to this location. A simple improvement in attitude and support could make a big difference, but until then, I cannot recommend this Dairy Queen.

Door was not unlocked when should have been. Service was very slow and just ordered ice cream cupcakes. Cupcakes were very disproportinate one spoonfool of fudge not enough vanilla ice cream or coolwhip.

went thru drive though tonight ordered a reeses blizzard only to get home and there is no reeses in it just peanut butter ice cream. went thru last week and ordered the same thing only to have all the reeses at the bottom of my cup not even blended in. very disappointing for what i paid

The service at this Dairy Queen is horrible. We waited for over 15 minutes in the drive through for two blizzards and a plain sundae. There was only one other car in front of us. We asked if we could have lids for our blizzards and we didn’t get any. We were offered a carrier for the blizzards, we said yes but didn’t receive that either. We absolutely love blizzards but we will take our business somewhere else because this DQ is nothing but a joke.

Every evening or night when I go to dine in at this dairy queen, the atmosphere is miserable. Well from the time you walk in you are flooded with the groups of high school students being very loud and rambunctious. Which I get it that they are teens in high-school it’s expected. But give me a break. These same groups of teens are there all evening to closing time. After sitting for just a little bit most individuals dining in leave mostly due to the behaviorand mannerisms portrayed by these individual adolescent.( that’s from my observation) you see if live right in very close proximity to this establishment so I dine in a lot. The staff is overrun by teens straight out of school or maybe still enrolled. And the management from my experience could use some training. But if you like dairy queen food and treats then you will have to overlook all of these things bc the next closet one is over an hour away!!

Long wait for ice cream and a chilled coffee.. which the coffee tasted like dirt. I mean, look at it.. it was gross and not worth $3.00. Eating real dirt would’ve been better. Lol
The Oreo blizzard was ok.. melted way too fast.. like DQ must have changed the quality of their ice cream. The staff are not up to par.

I waited over 30 minutes to get our food. They may need to hire someone who can fill the orders better.
The fries were cold, service was terrible. People ordered after I did got their food before we did.

Stopped here around 6:30pm on Thursday October 3rd. Not a single person in line. The heavy set lady came up to the register and asked if we decided what we wanted and said yes. She walked away to chit chat with the boys who were working there for 3 or 4 minutes. Then ,came back up to the register to take order. What the hell was that about!!!! This is not a place for the after school children to “work” just to play social hour and gossip. They don’t wear hair nets or gloves which puts customers at risk too. After the 3 or 4 minutes of her chit chat, she walked back up to the register to take order. Decided to say nothing and just walked away and went to a more reputable, better all around quality restaurant. The state needs to come in, fire all the workers, and shut the place down. If 0 stars were an option, I would have gave 0 instead of a 1 star.
