We recently stopped at this Dairy Queen location for dinner and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with the customer service.

After placing our order, we pulled up to the window, waited, paid, and received our food. However, our card was not returned to us. We waited briefly at the window but didn’t want to hold up the line, so we assumed it may have been handed back and drove away. Shortly after, we realized we did not have it and decided to circle back to confirm.

When we politely asked at the speaker if they still had our card , in no way accusatory, the employee responded, “Yeah, it’s right here,” without any acknowledgment or apology for the oversight. When we pulled up to the window, she handed the card back without confirming the name on the card or verifying that it belonged to us. Considering that anyone could have claimed it, this lack of verification was concerning. She also did not offer an apology, explanation, or even a simple “have a good night.”

While mistakes can happen, the complete lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic security protocol was extremely disappointing. A simple apology and basic verification of the cardholder would have gone a long way in making this situation right.

Every once and awhile I forget how ridiculously overpriced DQ is…..I haven’t been to one in many, many months, but I had a coupon, so I gave it a shot…..$5.19 for a soft serve medium hot fudge Sundae….and the worst part was the shrinkflation…..maybe a tablespoon and a half of fudge…..such a ripoff!!

Still less than 1 Star! Update 2/1/25- after 6 years I tried this DW again as I heard it was under New Management. The drive-thru attendant was one of the most rude attendants I’ve ever dealt with. Disrespectful and seemed like we were bothering her by ordering blizzards. Looks like it’ll be a lot longer than 6 years before I go back to this place again.
LESS THAN 1 STAR! Worst Dairy Queen in the area. The place is always dirty and the service is horrible. Last time we were there the employees were dropping the F word without any concern.

Update, 1-6-19. Nothing has improved. Still gross, slow, and very unfriendly staff. I only went back because my kid and his friend begged me to take them so they could spend Christmas gift cards. The service counter was left unattended for over 5 minutes while we were waiting for our food. At least we had already ordered, the people waiting to order were just stuck and frustrated! Ordered our 2 bizzards at 2:52 and got them at 3:10!

I am absolutely lost in the fact that this Dairy Queen, even after reopening under new management still cannot find a single employee with basic customer service skills. Every single employee I come in contact with at this location is beyond rude and acts like the customer is inconveniencing them by shopping there.

Employees need more training in customer service. They need to learn how to be polite, maybe smile and treat customers with some manners; they don’t even respond to a “Thank you”. I ordered a medium Oreo blizzard. They mistakenly brought me a small, which is fine, it happens. I pointed that out. It seems that they didn’t like that, they looked frustrated, then it looked like they took the small blizzard and transfered it to a medium cup, which gave me a bad feeling as a customer. Anyway it was not a good experience at this location. I unlikely to visit this location again!

Been here many times simply because it’s close to home and school. Everytime I hope it gets better. Always dirty tables and garbage on the floor. This particular visit the gentleman behind the till was at least friendly because they is not always the case.

We went here after a rough night earlier this week.
We ordered a 6pc chicken strip basket, and 2 blizzards. Immediately at the counter, our cashier was super rude and didn’t seem to know the menu at all. She checked us out and forgot multiple things from our order. We had to walk up to the counter to get our blizzards though dining in and found a blizzard to be missing. When food was made, the breading on the chicken strips was powdery and didn’t even cover the whole strip Not to mention there were only 5 strips in the basket. The bread included was soggy and not buttered. We were told they would bring new bread but did not. The manager only brought out a couple new chicken strips and it was atrocious to see how to fresh ones looked compared to the ones we were originally served. We had to go back and ask for our drink originally ordered and they were just upright rude about it. The gravy given to us was almost solid as well, and cold. When we asked the hospitality employee about all the errors, she seemed to react in a way that it was normal for the cashier to do this. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a restaurant this horrible.

We waited in the drive thru line for over an hour for them to process maybe 6 cars. When we finally did get to window we were handed two blizzards with the spoon bent on half and completely melted. This experience made me not want to go to a DQ again.

Im over there standing at the register with no one to be found taking orders. Other workers are just sneaking glances or just full on staring and im pretty sure they can take orders too. 5 minutes is too long without service.
