Let me start by saying we first went to the Burger King as we saw it from our hotel, & had the worst experience By Far, of any BK before: we were totally ignored for 7-8 minutes, not a single word to us while we waited for them to acknowledge us or even try to take our order, as all of their “workers” were messed up, not able to even bag any orders for the drive thru, acting confused, the kitchen helpers were making mistakes on all those orders, so drive thru was completely messed up, and other workers were going from dining room with friends, to behind the counter to fix their own foods, never Once did one person speak to us or look at us. We asked eachother if we were invisible?? So after 7-8 minutes (too long) we walked out. Looked up The DQ Dairy Queen, it was like a block away. Walked into Dairy Queen, & within one second, the most cheerful hello was said to us by a young lady named Juno, who was very polite, extremely courteous, helpful & smiling & friendly while we ordered. Before we got our waters filled, the other young lady (dressed as a cowgirl, it was Halloween, about 7:15 p.m.) had our milk shake whipped, topped & served to us with a smile & friendly gesture. Our food was up Pronto, like 4 minutes, & it was all hot, fresh and perfectly made, every piece of both of our meals was perfect! Couldn’t eat it all, went to get a box, the young man (dressed as a fun “cholo” with another gal employee, well he was smiling and very pleasant also, just in getting me a box. The whole crew was Just Amazingly Friendly, Eye Contact & Smiles, all very courteous, I was pleasantly blown away!
I just want to commend these young ladies & young man at this DQ DAIRY QUEEN, & to also commend the managers who must be running this store, as these young people were acting professional, not screwing around or playing or on their phones, they were great to us as customers, and showed us respect from the first second thru the door
We are moving to this area soon, and regularly attend the annual Sturgis Rallies, as do many friends & relatives of ours from many states around, and you can Bet on it, that we will tell All of them to Avoid the BK Burger King in Sturgis, but to Absolutely be Confident in The DQ DAIRY QUEEN in Sturgis, that they will have a pleasant experience with quality fast food perfectly done, so to be sure to patronize DAIRY QUEEN, & not bother to waste their time at the other place. BRAVO KIDS OF THE STURGIS DAIRY QUEEN!!!

Ordered 4 small blizzards and it cost $30!! And my blizzard was only mixed half way through. In my opinion it cost way to much for some okay-ish blizzards. This location needs to do better!

The bathrooms were poorly kept and there were flies all over the order ready area. The staff was also poorly dressed. Would not recommend unless absolutely necessary.

I gave only 1 star due to the fact that one of the girls dropped cups alllll over the floor in the back and she picked them up, stacked them together and placed them in the dispenser. That is disgusting and they should have been thrown away.
We leaned on the counter where you order and it almost fell off. The girl said to be careful because it’s not attached ?!?
The ice cream was good though.

It should not take 20 minutes to get two Blizzard’s made when very few people are in the store. You have people that come inside, don’t just concentrate on the drive-thru.

DQ has a $7 meal deal! I enjoyed the White Gravy as a dipping sauce and ordered a Brown Derby, old timer, chocolate shell sauce in a cup. Yum. Yum. Fond memories from my youth. Thank you!

Nicest and friendliest staff in town! It’s my favorite place to go because the employees always have a smile on their faces. It’s always very clean and they are willing to get you whatever you need
