My kids and I frequent this location often, and this latest visit with my daughter really stood out because of one of the employees. The ice cream and food were excellent, as they always are, but I especially wanted to highlight the character and presence of this particular team member. We were greeted by a gentleman named Matt (I believe that was his name per his name tag). He had a positive tone and demeanor right from the start and used classic DQ-friendly language, something along the lines of, “What kind of tasty treats can we serve you today?” which genuinely made us smile.
During ordering, I had a few basic requests and even changed my mind partway through. Matt normalized it completely, added some flair and positivity, and never made me feel like I was asking for too much. He was helpful, kind, and clearly enjoyed what he was doing. What stood out even more was watching how he interacted with his coworkers, friendly, respectful, and upbeat. It was refreshing to see someone who not only enjoys his job but brings that positive energy to both customers and colleagues. Great experience all around!

After leaving a different Dairy Queen with no food because they couldn’t find our order, we were SO happy with the expedient, friendly service the young crew at Perham DQ provided. We had a huge order as a large family, and our drinks and treats were ready by the time we were done paying, after pulling forward, our hot food was out in a couple minutes. It took us more time to get from microphone to window at the other DQ. Thanks for saving the day!

Went through the drive thru. Didn’t get my receipt. I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries, an order of cheese curds, and a large DIET mountain dew. When I went to the window, the gal at the window gave me my food, and beverage. I noticed the beverage was brown… not the color of mountain dew in general. I also noticed once I got home that I did not get my cheese curds. Because I didn’t get my receipt, I have no proof of purchase, and therefor lost out on almost $7.00, while having high blood sugar because they gave me a regular soda.

I had 2 ice cream cakes I ordered online for my daughter’s birthday. 1 was a strawberry cheesecake and the other I had a photo printed on the cake. They were ready right on time and they were made almost perfect. The only issue was the one I had a photo uploaded on. One side it looked like the printing has a rippled effect that shouldn’t have been there I got alot of compliments on the cakes and my daughter loves the horse on it. I believe that it was worth the money my daughter was very happy so it was worth it.

First off, 2 meals and 1 blizzard and a small sundae was 39 dollars and change. The fries were old, stale, and cold. The onion rings were old as well. Burgers weren’t that great, one had lettuce, one didn’t. The sundae was a joke, a fudge and strawberry sundae and there was one spot with both, otherwise it was just ice cream. I’m not paying that price for sub par food. I can go to McDonald’s next door for half the price for better food.

I had a great experience at this Dairy Queen location. I walked in and was greeted immediately. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and I wanted to purchase an ice cream cake for him. There were a few different options, traditional with vanilla and chocolate ice cream with chocolate fudge/oreo crumble to separate the two laters; Reese’s, Oreo, or cupcakes were available. The Oreo cake looked super appetizing. I’ve always gone with the traditional route but since my boyfriend is an Oreo Blizzard fan, the Oreo cake was a perfect fit. He loved it! Every bite was so worth it. The cake was topped with Oreo alone with Oreo pieces throughout the cake. Thanks, Perham DQ, for making such perfect ice cream cakes!

First time in the dinning room, had the chicken basket with country gravy. I have to say, reminds me of places down south. We’ll do DQ Perham

Honestly nice people work here. But they can’t seem to read screens properly. 3 trips, 3 incorrect orders. One is no ketchup on two burgers, they still have ketchup. Second is literally the same mistake.
Third is I ask for one burger with flamethrower pickles onion. Other burger mayo mustard pickle onion. One comes with flamethrower mayo pickles onion, and the amount of mayo was obscene. The other was just flamethrower sauce. Your burgers have three ingredients, and modifying that takes 0 brainpower. Absolutely bonkers how you mess this up so continuously.

I believe that all restaurants make mistakes, and sometimes one bad apple can ruin the experience. Its easy for this to go unnoticed. My review was responded too, and since then I have not had this issue! My orders are correct, prompt, and delicious. Thank you, to this establishment for correcting this and providing wonderful service and food. 5/5.
