I don’t even know where to start because I don’t ever do reviews but this time was a MUST but let’s start off with the fact that me & my wife were getting off our vehicle to get some dinner and we see a school bus with 15+ students get off. As we go in we see 1 employee in the front & 1 employee in the kitchen “Thinking to myself how are they going to do it being short staffed it’s impossible to finish at timely manner “? Man I was AMAZED at how fast the employees were taking out the orders & how great everything was . 10/10 Aliesha was great & cook in the back with getting out orders. I was skeptical to see there was only 2 employees working management should hire more people for times like these but overall my experience was great Thank you Aliesha & cook for making my experience GREAT will come again DQ you now have a Loyal customer !!!

This place absolutely sucks. They will forget to put the sauce in the bag. Do you love stale cold French fries and an crappy attitude? Well this is the place for you. Got a chicken strip basket cold as soon as it was handed to me also had to wait an extra 10 minutes for toast and they couldn’t even bother to cut it.

I cannot directly fault the employees for being chronically understaffed, but this is consistently the slowest Dairy Queen location I’ve ever visited. I would also observe that after nearly 10 visits, I’ve gotten my order correct less than half the time. I would highly advise just to keep driving to a different location due to the long wait, inconsistency of orders, and the laconic and depressed attitude of the staff.

The hot dog I got with #13 was so dried out it looked like it must have been on a heating element for hours. It had very little chili on it. Also, must have been heated up before boxing it because bun was hot and soggy. Should probably put fork and knife in the to go bag?!

Small town DQ had very pleasant staff. The facility was clean even with it being a bit dated. Seating area was a comfortable temperature with the counter area being very warm. Plenty of parking.

Terrible customer service! Every time we go to this Dairy Queen, me and my family are treated rudely. My cheeseburger order was given to someone else, and we waited 30 minutes to get the meal. The cashier finally dropped off the cheeseburger and stated we received at bigger burger for compensation. I didn’t want a bigger burger. I asked if I could have a dilly bar, and she walked away completely ignoring me. So I went to the cashier 5 minutes later after hearing nothing, and asked for a dilly bar with my debit card in hand. The lady said no I will have to pay. Ok, so she began to ring me up and I asked if she was the manager, no response, ok, I asked for her name-no response. She then walked away as I stood there in line,,,,,,, she continued to work with 2 other co-workers speaking another language. As people begin to come behind me, another female came to the ring me up and I asked her for the other females name and she said no I cannot give you her name and walked away,,, still standing in line waiting to pay, finally someone came to ring me up and pay for the dilly bar. I will not be back to this Dairy Queen, I will drive 20 minutes to Detroit Lakes where service is satisfactory.

I waited 50 minutes for a to go order. 10 to 15 minutes after I ordered they ran around saying we have no one in the kitchen. My fries tasted like they were 2 days old. They were cold. The bacon in our sandwich was cold. Our sandwiches fell apart when we tried to eat them. The girls their clearly didn’t want to be there. Only the one in the pony tail did anything. And she must have been was in charge of ice cream. I will not go there again. This was there 2nd chance.

Their service is slow, granted they are under staffed. Best part about it is always the blizzards. Foods alright. Not the best I’ve had there since multiple change in owners.if you want something simple that’s probably the best relative fast food in Pelican Rapids, I recommend stopping here.

We were not impressed with the person behind the counter, possibly the manager or leader. She was dressed in a different color shirt compared to the other workers and several times as she walked past the counter working she kept rolling her eyes and making angry looks while working. Other employees were really doing a good job but rolling your eyes about making orders is ridiculous when your customers are watching.
Yes it gets busy at times I’ve been there, but your customers pay the bills also. Maybe try smiling because Jesus loves you and don’t think he got crabby when he paid for rotten attitudes for everyone.

I come here nearly every summer. And its a place I like to stop with my family primarily. But I have to say, the food is usually all over the place. Whether the burgers and buns are super dry, my order being wrong or getting hardly any fries in a fry order. The staff are usually friendly but your speaker and microphone for the drivethrough are…frustrating to deal with as a customer. There are honestly a few small improvements that would drastically change how I view my time coming here.
