I honestly don’t even like DQ that much but I just stopped here and the quick service reminded me how awful and slow the service is at the McDonald’s down the street. Had to leave a review here to have another opportunity to bash the McDonalds down the street. (I always get a blizzard here before fireworks in the summer though and they handle the crowds so well… McDonald’s could never)

Same as any other DQ. Have to come here, almost an hour away, because Bemidji doesn’t have a DQ that stays open during the Winter. I didn’t like my interaction here today, which isn’t normal. I had to wait for anyone to notice there was a customer waiting. Someone came, then it took quite a while to give my order because she kept on talking to other workers. Apparently a new worker had made a mistake. Ok, that happens. But don’t deal with it in front of customers. Don’t ignore the customer to talk to other customers. I’m assuming this person was a manager as she kept giving orders. She should have known better, even if she was frazzled. Then she told someone else to make my Blizzard, which they did, and handed it to her to take the credit for it. Again, not OK. You didn’t make it. I’ve never had to wait so long to order and receive my order in an empty restaurant. I feel sorry for the worker who made a mistake. Just wanted everyone to know this manager made several. I’m a former manager of a store so I know how managers should conduct business.

Very disappointed in the experience i had at this DQ. I arrived 5 mins early for my order and was fine waiting a little bit longer. I just let one of the employees know i was here and sat down at a table. Ended up waiting 20mins for my order, no one else was in restaurant and didn’t seem like drive thur was busy as it was late in the evening. All 4 or 5 employees up front were very uncoordinated and had very poor communication between them about orders. Most of them just stood & stared at you or was being super loud talking to each other about personal stuff. Not paying attention much to any customers. None of them checked in with me, asked if i needed anything. When i got my order the food ended up being cold, mushy and stale, the slush was mostly melted and I found out that my blizzard had been made but one of the employees threw it away for no reason and it had to be remade. Just overall very unprofessional and poor service. Don’t recommend going to this DQ

Long wait at the drive through, to get old fries. Cheese curds were not filled up, instead the place the sauce ($0.69 extra) in there. Extra pickles are $0.29 and they add one slice of pickle. This DQ loves to charge extra and give less. Go somewhere else like A&W

The man at the front counter taking the orders seemed slow—he pretty much didn’t respond when being spoken to the two women making the ice cream seemed to be running around like hair was on fire and was difficult to get their attention and then the one was very rude. I ordered a hot fudge sundae for my 8 year old daughter. The dish came out as just vanilla ice cream in a cup. When I tried to get the attention of the woman who filled the dish it was difficult and then when said it was supposed to be hot fudge literally rudely said you weren’t charged for that. The receipt literally says sm sundae and was charged $3.79 which is the cost of the hot fudge sundae. Eventually got attention of the man who took the order “Travis” and pointed out the receipt and he did add the hot fudge. Customer service is not even close to a priority. Probably would not come back. Not what we have come to expect from DQ. Restaurant was clean though.

This Dairy Queen runs with high efficiency. It was packed!! We walked in and order almost immediately, went to bring things to the table and before we could sit to wait, our food was ready. The food was fresh and delicious. You can tell they use fresh oil for the fries. The bathroom is clean as well. I honestly couldn’t find anything to complain about.
