This is my go to spot for a fun “Daddy and Kids” night out. The food is hot and tasty and everyone who works here is so kind to my family. They also do a great job decorating cakes – everyone in my home wants a DQ Cake for their birthday… my kids start telling me which one they want 10 months in advance.

I placed an order at 9:29 after I got off work and it said it was in progress and would be ready at 9:40. It’s was snowing but the roads are well managed and we’re pretty typical for Wisconsin in the winter. I get up to the door and it’s closed, at this point it 9:45. The older man who was sweeping looked at the girl at the counter and said no with a hand gesture. I was reasonably mad because I already paid for my food and I haven’t eaten all night. He came to the door and said I just had to call and refund it. They close at 10! The man walked back to the counter and laughed at me with the other 2 employees, What a joke.

What happened to Dairy Queen?
We bought a Dairy Queen signature Fudge & Crunch ice cream cake yesterday. My whole family is very disappointed! As you can see from the pictures, the first one is from their website. The second and third one are from the cake we bought. The inner crunchy part which is hollow and takes half the volume of the cake, is filled with loosen Oreo crumbs and has no fudge. The bottom part barely has an ice cream layer.
We bought a cake back in October, it was hollow then, we thought it was just our bad luck. But apparently, our luck runs out from DQ forever.
We always loved DQ’s ice cream cake; unfortunately, the quality is getting so poor. That’s really a shame!

Last couple of time we were there they messed up our order. First time order heath blizzard with cheesecake and didn’t get cheesecake, we paid extra for it . Second ordered cotton candy and got animal cracker. Very disappointed. Also has been a while since they showed us the upside-down blizzard

It’s definitely a smaller location if you are planning to dine in, and parking can be challenging since it’s in such an active area, but the food is great!
We always get takeout, and if you do the same, make sure to hold the bag by the bottom if you have food. They staple the top of the bag, which makes it weaker to ripping, so to avoid tragedy, be a little careful.
The chicken strip baskets are great, and the option to have gravy for dipping chicken and fries is very welcome. And of course, nothing can beat a Dilly bar or a blizzard when the mood strikes!

This place is great. When I called to inquire about a Birthday cake, someone answered + described the process thoroughly. Based on this call I decided to proceed. The young man at the store helped me select a cake, then quickly + kindly added the person’s name + some other decorations – perfectly! It’s amazing to walk into a place + get a personalized cake within minutes. And then the recipient + one guest both commented, “It was the best cake I have ever eaten.”
