Been my go to DQ since I was a little kid! Love the people who run this store and the employees they have working there! They make the best ice cream cakes and are also very sweet towards my little one’s when I bring them in for a yummy ice cream treat. I highly recommend! The only downside is that they get really busy sometimes so plan for a wait!

Everytime I am there I get the same treatment with my ice cream. Just globs of vanilla and no followings whatsoever. I feel like they do not know how to mix will with the ingredients. This is my second time in a row , first Time we had to come back because our Oreo blizzards were nothing but Oreo. Just globs of vanilla. Manager had to go back and then make them over again. She said that she will teach the new girls but they have yet to learn. This is my second time tonight and I got the New York cheesecake blizzard. Again same exact way. Globs of vanilla and no cheesecakes, I feel as though it is unfair because we pay for toppings. Not just vanilla. If I wanted a vanilla ice cream I’ll go to McDonald’s.

Several times we have been to this dairy queen because it is close to our house and we have had bad experiences every time over the last year or so. The staff is rude, the line is long and they do not take coupons from the Dairy Queen Phone App. We have also found that they skimp on ingredients on almost everything they make. We have since taken our business to the 6th St Dairy Queen and could not be happier with the service and food/ice cream received there. We are in the service industry, so being treated with respect and friendly service goes along way in our family – and unfortunately Wilson Ave Dairy Queen does not meet high customer service standards. We will not be returning to this Dairy Queen.

Dairy Queen is a popular place so expect a line of at least 3 cars. Their slogan is “it’s fan food not fast food” and this DQ takes full advantage of the slogan as they seem to take their time but once recieving the food it is worth the wait, sweet cold and creamy delight. They offer novelty snacks, shakes, blizzards, sundays and even slushies for the lactose intolerant people in the group. The hot food is exactly what’s expected tasty hot and relatively fast. The entrees have reasonably priced options so it’s ok to splurge on dinner as it will cost about the same as your dairy delight.

I used to love this place they were nice and accommodating.. now I have been told you can’t get any toppings besides whip cream and sauce on a sundae no blizzard toppings which they used to let you do. I was told I couldn’t get a large coke with my chicken finger meal.. I was told they don’t have mayo packets which is fine because they always have me a side of mayo up until today. None of this makes sense to me even when I am willing to pay extra for everything. Is this just the young kids being lazy or actual rules that have been made within the past 2 weeks????

Simply preposterous…I can not believe the lack of service that was shown to me and my little sister this very night. Dairy Queen is said to close at 8:30 pm and my sister and I arrived to get some ice cream at 8:10, yet they denied us of service! I am utterly perplexed and simply disappointed…

In this Photo it says that the Dairy Queen drive thru closes at 8:30. We showed up 8:13 and the lady didn’t allow us to get a blizzard even though it wasn’t closing time. Overall not my best experience and they could’ve been honest about their hours. 1/5

I think all dairy queen locations are outrageously over priced. They skimp on portions and toppings. The Freeze in marion gives you your money’s worth
