My order was wrong. The were happy to fix it. As a result I got free small fries & 3 PC chicken strips. The rest of our order was good. The service was over the top. Very pleasant and courteous workers. We will be back.

Unlike that other review, they don’t ASK for tips, it’s an option the card reader gives, no one has ever asked me to tip! Iv always had great experiences here. My food is always fresh and the employees are always kind and helpful. This DQ is far better than the other one in valpo!

Ordered two Oreo Snowdrift blizzards and an eggnog milkshake. The drive thru menu says “served upside down or the next one is free”. They handed all three items to me in a drink carrier, so they weren’t served upside down. When I mentioned it, the guy said “we are doing that at our front.”, then said “here I will do. You want me to do it?” Trying to have me hand them back so he could serve them upside down. Why? So he obviously didnt want to honor the menu statement.

I watched one employee make over a dozen ice cream sandwiches without gloves on. I specifically asked for my food to be made with gloves on and they guy making my daughters ice cream didn’t care. The guy at the counter seemed to get more rude after I asked for gloves. Annoyed almost. Won’t come back to this location. Gross. Why doesn’t anyone hire employees that care about food and safety standards?

If you’re craving cold ice cream and crispy fries, this is NOT the place. By the time you leave, your Blizzard has turned into a milkshake and your fries are limp enough to qualify as wet noodles. The service? Let’s just say the employees act like you personally ruined their day just by showing up. I even gave this place a couple more tries, thinking maybe I just caught them on an “off day” turns out every day here is an off day. Save yourself the disappointment (and the soggy fries) and pick a different Dairy Queen.

I ordered a birthday cake from these folks and requested a special unicorn top. This all cost extra. I was told they could put the words above and below the decoration. When I got it, the words were right over the unicorns face, nothing was capitalized, including the child’s name, and “birthday” was misspelled. It looked awful. The sales person took off the decorative cost but we were very disappointed I. Such thoughtless work. The decorator should be fired.
