Blizzard was practically melted like right upon getting it. I walked off as soon as I got my fries and went to the car to which I found the blizzard was not thick or anything like I’m used to with every other DQ.

Stopped at the northbound and southbound about a week apart. Both times the burgers were precooked and had been sitting in the warmer for a long, long time. When I worked at McDonalds many years ago, we never had a microwave to heat up old patties. The sandwiches had a ten-minute time limit under the heat lamps. After that they would be tossed. On the plus side the one ice cream sandwich I bought was outstanding. The counter lady told me they made them, get this, fresh that morning. The wafers were crisp and tasty.

The cashier was very friendly , other lady in the back very rude rolled her eyes once I asked for ketchup and missing things from my order . She seemed like she did not want be at work .Very long wait time just for a small order .

Employees were rude . They wouldn’t give plastic cup for drinks on the long drive unless you got the shake. But then one of the employees is filling up multiple plastic cups with drinks for herself and said she can get it because she works there. And we had to get a drink because they couldn’t make any shakes. Cashier was very nice and professional but the lady in purple was very arrogant. No value of customer service.

I had the DQ $6 lunch combo. For $6, I got a cheeseburger, fries, drink and a small hot fudge sundae. The food was fresh and served with a smile. My wife had lunch from Panera and paid $13.97 for a small bowl of soup, half of a sandwich and a drink. For a fast lunch on the turnpike, I preferred my $6 DQ special.

The “5” dollar box is actually 5.99 here. The chicken salad is about the size of a side salad with a tiny bit of chicken. The blizzard was high quality but I would suggest to go to Pamera next door instead.

The young man who was working as the cashier was incredibly friendly. Ice cream came out quickly and he wished us a Merry Christmas. Not many places are open on Christmas and even fewer have workers that are polite and friendly when they have to work Christmas Day, but this guy did a great job. I hope management recognizes him (he was working around 1:30-2ish PM).

After a long drive across 70 in PA, the DQ at this test stop is a nice reward. As always, the ice cream was good and the cashier was friendly, but the people in back were screwing around a bit much with multiple people waiting. I get that work is not fun, but it made for an unnecessarily long wait with grumpy people wanting their ice cream, chief among them a complainer in a ichigan shirt. Not that you can expect much else from that kind of person.
