I am a little surprised by the negative reviews. Ive been here three times since the opened. The first time my family and I ordered milkshakes in the drive thru. No problems. Friendly service. Good milkshakes.
The second time we visited was last week. This time we went inside to eat. Ordered the $7 combo meal that comes with a sundae (burger version). Not an immediate greeting upon arrival, but I think the lady was still learning. No big deal. Ordered and sat down and they brought our food to our table. I want to start by saying we rarely eat fast food anymore because it is never fresh or hot. We were taking a chance with DQ. They did not disappoint. Fries were so hot they were hard to eat initially. Burger was fresh and hot. The strawberry sundae was delicious. Weird add: the Coke is perfectly balanced and delicious. This literally was the first hot fast food meal we’ve had in years. It was really good. They also had a lot of ice cream cakes, parfaits, and Dilly Bars ready for purchase too. Restaurant was clean and everyone was friendly. The only complaint I have is regarding the atmosphere: the lights inside are so harsh. I feel like I am in an operating room with those lights.
The third time was this morning, when they officially celebrated their opening with offering the first 200 customers that buy an ice cream cake gets a coupon for a free small blizzard every week for a year. We got a basic signature 10″ cake for $31.99. So, we participated in that as well. They also added a special number to the cake. IYKYK.
I dont know if it was such a good experience because it is a new location and over time, it may turn into another crappy fast food joint, but for now we have had three good experiences here (I will update my review if something changes). I hope it stays that way – especially making sure everything is hot and fresh. I feel like that will make or break a restaurant. I’d rather wait for fresh food than get lukewarm food fast.

I visit twice a week but today was terrible. Burgers were dry and the fries were cold. My hot fudge sundae had very little fodge on the side. Lol not even on top.

Great tasting burger, fast service… BUT!! Most expensive fast food place I’ve ever been too. I literally got a HALF OF A HANDFUL of fries in a $15 dollar meal. I actually thought they gave me a kid’s meal so I asked, but they were like, “That’s a medium fry”. I haven’t been to a DQ in about 10 years and I will never spend another penny at a Dairy Queen again. I literally feel ripped off. I’m not joking when I say a Happy Meal from McDonalds for CHILDREN has a larger portion of fries than a medium size meal here.

This is my second negative review (first under mark) and it reflects a consistent pattern of incompetence. I ordered a medium Royal Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzard and received maybe two bites of the royal core, buried under an absurd amount of graham cracker crumbs to the point I had to scoop them out. The banana split had two pieces of pineapple included which is my spouses favorite part.
This is now three visits in a row with incorrect orders. Previously, I ordered a vanilla M&M Blizzard and was given what was essentially a chocolate cup with M&M topping. These aren’t small mistakes, it’s a complete failure in quality control and pride. I won’t be back, ever. The teenage employees DO NOT care, and I shouldn’t be angry every time I order ice cream.

We just got ice cream but I thought it was a good experience, the workers seemed friendly. Ice cream was delicious as always. The wait was a bit long though but it was warm out so that was to be expected.

I dont like this dq. First time I went there was like a week after they opened. Didn’t like the service, my chicken tenders were soggy, they forget all of the fries and the pretzels sticks. I also ordered through doordash I wish I would of check to see where it was coming from. Got a 4 piece. Tenders were dry and burnt. And for real I pay like 13 bucks for the box and got like 6 fries and the toast was just butter my dogs wouldn’t even eat it and that says a lot. Ridiculous. I ain’t going back. Barberton’s is the best one and my go to spot for sure.

Unfortunately I’ve been to this DQ about three times since it’s been open. Also, unfortunately my food is barely lukewarm when I get it but I’ve been asked to pull forward because they’re making it “fresh”…. Well if “fresh” means barely warm at all and my gravy being pretty much cold when I got it to the point I had to put it in the microwave when I got home just so I could eat it kinda hot…. This is what happens when you have a bunch of teenagers trying to run a fast food restaurant but the phone is more important than the customer.

The kids that work here are incredibly disrespectful every time I’ve ever come through. They only seem to care if the general manager is there to discipline them. They will hand you melted ice cream or something that is half full and look at you like you’re crazy if you ask them politely to fix it. If it were them spending their hard-earned money on something, I’m sure they’d expect it to be done at the bare minimum correctly.

I came in to pick up a food order and stood at the register for about five minutes in an empty lobby. There was only one car in the drive-thru when I arrived, and it had already left very shortly after. Despite several employees being present, no one greeted or acknowledged me. Instead, most of the crew appeared to notice/look at me but continued to talk among themselves. It wasn’t until a young woman who was off the clock spoke up that anyone finally offered assistance.
The lack of basic acknowledgment and professionalism from the on-duty staff was disappointing. A simple greeting or update would have made a big difference in the experience.

Ordered on the mobile app, arrived 5 minutes early and asked if the order was ready. Was told it wasn’t ready yet, so I proceeded sit down and wait patiently for over 16 minutes. (I should have gone up after 10)
Eventually, I had to approach and ask if they even had my order in their queue and the girl behind the counter acted like she never saw me before, even though I literally sat on front of her after I asked her about my order.
Another girl said, what was the name and it turns out my order WAS READY and it was behind their pickup shelves on the counter the entire time.
I accepted the fact that the store is new and there are young kids working there, but when I get home and 3 of my burgers are made wrong, that is ridiculous. I got over the wait…… but getting the orders wrong doesn’t help.
5 stars for food, 0 stars if I could for service. And I hate leaving bad reviews.
