We only went for ice cream but the service was so quick and they were so nice and friendly would recommend this place on a hot summer day and you want some ice cream or to satisfy a sweet tooth.

THIS IS THE FILTHIEST BATHROOM I HAVE EVER SEEN and they keep it locked (it’s outside) so it’s honestly only customers using it and they are not very tidy of themselves as the manager assured me it wasn’t in that condition at the opening of the day. Doubtful as it was disgusting. The lobby was busy and the cashier was brand new and several times reminded me how he “hates this place”. It’s hard to mess up ice cream but apparently it isnt that hard to mess up a simple order of 3 average things. An older man decided to cut the line to let the new cashier know his wife changed her mind and when the old guy got irritated about having to pay so much more for what she now wanted the new guy handled it with real tact which impressed me. Overall I’m glad I was just in town momentarily and not a resident of Cave City, Kentucky because if I were they would have some serious changes to make to get my patronage on a regular basis. Overall was grade D.

I generally get great service at this DQ but this time I did not. Asked for a Brownie and Oreo Cupfection and ended up with some sort of Oreo Blizzard. I only eat something sweet once and blue moon and was looking forward to that. While it was good it’s definitely not what I wanted to pay for. The fries tasted like they were sitting awhile. Not crisp at all. The burgers were great. That was the saving grace here.

I went through the drive thru started telling the girl what I wanted first I say a blizzard to which she said is that it I said no told her 2 more things Noth times of her repeating is that it told her 2 small cokes 2 large cokes to which she said 2 waters and I said no 2 cokes and she said ok gave me my total and I pulled around got 4 blizzards and 2 drinks was told the girl didn’t hear me that I could pay for my other 2 drinks when handed one of my blizzards the guy dropped the top he was however nice enough to Apologize and give me a new top but mind you it wasn’t busy I was the only one in the drive thru line and was rushed throughout my order maybe If you got employees who did their job you’d have better service

Worst dq experience. Didn’t know what multiple things we ordered were, made our shake the wrong size, then made it without the malt. Then she put the malt OVER the whipped cream and mixed it again and it was very liquidy. Also, royals barely had topping in the middle. She didnt flip our blizzards either, probably because they were liquidly. Then tried to put the blizzards in the carrier without lids ?? What . the . heck !

After a long walk in mammoth cave, this quaint creamery is a refreshing choice. The wooden benches and rotting ceiling tiles sends you back to a simpler time. Whilst a normal patron would be turned away from these features, the idea of a ceiling tile crashing down upon you during your time here reminded me of how short life is, an experience that you dont find often in a typical creamery.
