This location is typically so understaffed that it’s a long wait in the drive through even if there’s only one car ahead. The prices have risen so drastically and I swear the sizes have shrunk on everything. At my last visit it took at least 15 minutes to pay a small fortune for a medium blizzard in a cup that most places would call “small” and there was over an inch of unfilled space at the top, then there was hardly any candy in it, it was chopped to a fine powder, and mixed only about halfway down (nothing but vanilla ice cream beneath). And let’s face it their ice cream isn’t that great despite being the alleged queen of dairy. The one thing our whole family loves is their cheese nuggets, but at this point they’re too expensive for a fast food side item.

The journey was long. It was 0.8 miles. It was a hot, hot Alabama mid July day and the trees had a pungent and peculiar odor and our eyes were heavy. There were four of us venturing into the unknown, some soldiers fell, some lost their minds, but we persevered and came out victorious. We’re here now, and we’ve finally ordered our burgers, chicken, fries and of course, blizzards. I need to take the first bite after this treacherous journey, I will continue in part two after I’ve enjoyed my meal. Thank you for joining me on this spectacular journey.

It is the most painful thing for me to give this and a review. Back when. I was little I would go to this Dairy Queen every weekend with my friends and it was great. But the fall from grace has been real. It’s been several years since I’ve had a single piece of good food from this location. The wait times are abysmal, the location is filthy, and workers are often rude. I used to still go for the ice cream until I got a blizzard that tasted like it had soap mixed in and was so strong I had throw it away after a few bites. Truly a sad fall from glory

I love this dairy queen. Theyr always fast and fresh, the drive thru ladies are always so nice. The sodas taste great, and are filled up, the milkshakes are great as always, the ice cream is always really good, food is fresh and crispy. I always really anjoy going here on my lunch breaks.
