I’m extremely disappointed. We ordered two burgers and fries, and everything was cold — not lukewarm, not “sat for a minute,” but straight-up cold.
Coming from a pregnant lady who only wanted a hot burger, this was beyond frustrating. When you’re craving something specific and pay for a hot meal, the bare minimum expectation is that it’s actually hot.

Extremely disappointed with this location. Came through this drive through at 11:52 on Sunday, June 20th. Drive through was slow, car in front of us was throwing litter out there window while talking to the staff. We ordered a 4 piece chicken strip with meal large drink and fries. We also ordered a 1/2 Flame Burger which was the driest we’ve ever seen a burger. He took a bite and threw it away. There was so much sauce on it to cover up the dry patty. The patty almost tasted rancid and the large drink was a medium when I ordered large. Won’t be visiting this DQ again.

This has to be the worst Dairy Queen within 60 miles of Savannah. I wish they would tear it down and put a Chick-fil-A instead. Being Metter is the halfway point between Savannah, or Macon from the other side, there should be a better “restaurant” here. The employees’ lack of care truly shines. I’m especially mad that my daughter ordered a mini mint Oreo blizzard but instead was given a barely mixed, only mint flavored blizzard. No Oreo pieces and it wasn’t even mixed properly. Whoever owns this Dairy Queen should be ashamed. The interior is also very outdated. It’s time to do better.

This is the worst DQ I have ever been to. Our fries were super soggy and filled with grease. The chicken was OLD and COLD as could be. This restaurant does not even deserve a 1 star. Absolutely disgusting. Oh and by the way enjoy the disgusting septic smell while eating your food that compliments the smell along with it.

In 5 years I have never gotten hot fries and chicken strips. If I’m lucky they are kinda warm but certainly never hot. For a store that is not constantly business please serve hot food, it cost too much money to have to settle with cold or mat e warm food.

Ok I was travelling and in need of a stop. I thought I would get a hotdog at dairy queen, since I have not visited for a long time. As soon I walked it there was this horrible smell. I do not know it it was backed up septic or if it is well water, the bathroom seemed like it has not been touched since it was created. Not saying it was dirty, but very worn out.
There were several people in there, so I guess it is the place in town. I went to get my hot dog, but as I was standing in line I realized that there was no way I could eat with that smell. So, I left without eating anything. 🙁
I think if the place gets a little TLC and you get an aerator for whatever is the cause of the smell, you might get more people travelling in and a fun night out place for the towns people. Gave you a 3 star because of the amount of people there.

Stopped for lunch at 11:30am today. One car in the lot. Employee was blocking the door getting her smoke in. Wasn’t interested in customers. Drove out. Strike 2 in GA for DQ today. Just close the business and save us some time.
UPDATE 7/13: Just passing through. By now she should be done with her smoke. We will NEVER stop here again, we travel this route frequently. Your canned answer is insulting.

All aspects of the visit were poor. At the drive through ordering we were rushed with no one behind us. At the window we waited and requested extra condiments, 10 minutes later still no drinks and the attendant had no idea what we ordered. The sprites received were not mixed correctly, and then we were told the condiments were extra after we already requested them and they said ok. The attendant acted as if we were requesting something outside of her sole job of service and left a bad taste for the metter DQ, we will not be visiting again.

Went to drive thur ordered a medium fry freshly cooked and restated freshly cooked and cup of ice. We got right on the interstate heading home. I called the young lady and repeated my order and said refrying French fries is not fresh, they were not ateable.. She admitted they were refried than stated she did not cook them. I said ask the cook she told me they were backed up that was less than 2 minutes after we left there was no other cars. I ask to speak to a manager she said no, I asked her name and advise I would call management tomorrow she hung up on me. How rude!!!.
