Stopped here to try their breakfast sandwich. The food was good. The place was packed. The thing that stood out the most to me was the way these employees handled the rush. They were on top of things and seemed to work well together. I watched as order after order went out the door and the employees still stayed cheerful.

Ordered a gravy biscuit combo, a chicken biscuit combo, and a tenderloin biscuit. Was pulled over to the side. 2 other cars that were behind me were also pulled. Both of those cars got their orders and were gone and more through the line before I ever got my order. The wait was ridiculous and the food could have been better considering the wait. The tea with the combos was supposed to be sweet and definitely was not.

I got burger meal deal and hubby got the chicken and fries. Food was good. Booths needed a little attention (crumbs from prior customers on table) but basically okay experience.

Order two tenderloin and egg biscuits and two steak cheese biscuits. Go outside to eat tenderloin was missing eggs. The lady who was fixing biscuits states the order said tenderloin only. She throws two eggs in a bag. Not a apologize. Can not help cashier ring in order wrong a preventive action would be read order back. Young gentleman told her two tenderloin biscuits with eggs. She stated she only needs eggs. My husband goes in gives them two eggs to keep. One employee knows my husband by name states she make two fresh biscuits. He told her NO! We always go to the dairy queen in rocky mount. They were busy so we just decided to ride on to Ferrum bad mistake!

I posted a review a few months back saying that the food is decent enough and the staff are very nice, but I’d say 85% of the time, at the drive thru, no matter what time of day I go and whether they’re busy or not, I’m told to “pull up to the yellow pole” and wait. Sometimes it’s a significant amount of time. I go thru the drive thru for convenience. If I had time to wait, I’d go inside and sit down. This has been a problem for a while and it has yet to be fixed. Plus, the main reason for posting about this again this time is because just today not only did I have to wait at the drive thru again, hut they got my order wrong. By the time I noticed it, it was too late to turn back. Four burgers all made wrong that I had to wait on in the drive thru.. This is the second time I’m having to leave a review like this. Please fix this!

went through the drive-through bought a chicken strip basket and the person who was taking my order’s name was Chris at this location and I said that I needed to have a military discount and he wanted to see my ID would not let me have it until he went to the manager, and had the manager come to me and when I said that it was disrespectful to question my veterans status she said that he works in the 220 location and this is coming from the manager that that’s the way they do things. That is not the way they do things in Rocky Mount. If you ask for a veteran discount, they do not question they know That you would not bring that up for no reason but yet this Dairy Queen and farm seems to want to question your veteran status so maybe we should start questioning the manager on duty and who’s training their associates. I know that Dairy Queen is above And beyond Questioning any veteran for his status so we will get to the bottom of this thank you

Contaminated, unsafe food here. I contacted the Virginia Department of Health. I went here for to go food for my family during the folklife festival. It was very busy and I understood it was because of the folklife festival. I was patient. I bring it home to find the burgers were thin patties with more mustard than cheese, overloaded with pickles, and a pubic hair in my daughter’s chicken strip basket.

Hell you charge outrageous prices and then never and I mean never give out out damn napkin to wipe the grease off your hands guess you just figure everyone wipes thier damn hands on thier pants. The only time I go here is if I’m starving and that’s not often I would ride all the way to Rocky Mount Bojangles first. 20 minutes out of the way but you get a chicken biscuit for 5 dollars that fills you up and you get napkins to wipe your hands on. Thank you for reading my book.

I had one of the worst drive-thru experiences here. I arrived at 10:40 AM and waited behind one car. By the time I reached the speaker, it was 10:56. I waited several more minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Finally, at 11:01, someone came on and asked for my order. I asked for two sausage gravy biscuits—only to be told that breakfast had just ended and they were out of biscuits.

How does a place known for biscuit-based menu items run out of biscuits right at the cut-off time? It felt like a complete lack of urgency or care. If service had been even slightly more efficient, I could’ve ordered in time.

This isn’t my first frustrating experience here. I’ve come in the past for ice cream cones—usually the large size—but for $6, I’ve consistently been handed small, uneven, and poorly made cones. It’s disappointing to pay premium prices for subpar quality, especially when the staff doesn’t seem trained to make them properly.

Definitely not the kind of service or consistency you’d hope for from a fast-food spot.
