We purchased 6 blizzards today. Upon tasting them, one of my children complained that her ice cream tasted terrible. I tasted it and confirmed it tasted bitter and bad. Only two spoonfuls were consumed. The manager said they could give us another blizzard half off. I told the manager we want a replacement or our money back and they refused. So after spending $40 on ice cream and receiving a bad one, they want more money. The manager refused to give her name or the name of owner. They said complaints need to be made with corporate. The corporate website says to contact the owner directly. That’s the last penny they will get from me. I recommend you buy ice cream or food somewhere else. Not to mention their certificate from the health department on display is expired for 2 years.

I was there on Monday the 22nd of December Christmas time. Went to the counter and the young lady was so polite so kind a smile place my order just a medium cone and another young lady served me gave me the cone and I left there feeling really good. They were so polite they weren’t in a hurry no long faces just really good I didn’t get their names so unfortunate. They are a franchise so I may go back and get the phone number and call the franchisee.

The store was dirty and unkept. My blizzard was handed to me as soup. Got charge extra for the middle to have fudge and there was none to be found.

We stop in for dinner I got the fish sandwich better then Gordon’s frozen fish Patty was a fish fillet not a square Patty. Not good enough to were i would say Ill get that next time. Daugher got chicken tenders said the same not much better then frozen from the supermarket the french fries were good in the ice cream was good

Gross! You can visually see mold coming from the air vents and on water damage ceiling tiles. If it’s in the air it’s in the food… Employees were friendly and working hard, it’s sad that they have to work in these conditions.

I didn’t wanna give him any stars, but this is the only way that I could get in here and tell how I feel about this place. Their service is awful. They don’t listen when you place an order, I asked for the onion rings to be overcooked and I got onion rings that are barely cooked. The ignorance just goes on and on people. And it was the assistant manager that took my order. I think he needs to go back to management school or listening school some thing or maybe stay at home. Find a job that suits you better. Worst management upper.

What can I say, it’s Dairy Queen ♀️ Blizzards are any flavor ice cream with toppings of your choice whipped so fast you need a spoon to eat it. Milk shakes, cones, floats, and sundaes, all very good. As of August 18 2020 the dining room is not open. You can only order at the window on the side 9f the building and they close earlier than usual now, 9pm.
The food they serve is actually pretty good too. Hamburgers and fries, chicken tenders, wings, shrimp and salads. The service is pretty slow and customer service/friendliness ETc is lacking but I find that’s the case with most places in Culpeper. You can see in the pics they have the outside roped leading up to the window for covid-19 and for the most part customers are distancing. Employees are wearing masks as well. Overall, food and treats are awesome, but be prepared to wait a few, about 10 min or more.

A so-called “manager” named Kristen was super rude to me when I asked for more pumps of caramel after I ordered extra pumps! its like they purposely not listen to you. Another manager named Sermesa, or whatever her name is, was also disrespectful to me and my kids. This place is horrible.

I am honestly disgusted, I was waiting for my food and went to use the restroom when I saw a roach on the ground, someone needs to get the health inspector in here ASAP, I can’t imagine where else they could be hiding. Will no longer be eating at this local Dairy Queen.
