I was very pleased with my service at the dairy Queen. At the last minute I realized I was going to be throwing a small birthday party. I called the dairy Queen the evening before. They couldn’t get an ice cream cake for me immediately, but they told me to come back the next morning at noon, which was a Saturday. They were able to put the party boys name on the cake. They also had birthday candles. One less stop for me to make. They also had several varieties of candles to choose from. And I can honestly say I have never been let down by a dairy Queen ice cream birthday cake! I can’t thank them enough!

My husband and I really never eat fast food, but we both had a very long and tiring day. Since our choices in our price range are limited, we decided on Dairy Queen in Girard. Even though they were very busy, we took our food home and I have to say the food was hot, and very good. My cheeseburger surprised me, the fries were great, the chicken strips were good, and we were quite pleased. My husband went inside to order, came out relatively fast despite how busy they were. I give credit to who ever worked yesterday evening, because you did a good job making the food. It can’t be an easy job, so I think it is a nice idea to give them the kudos they need and deserve once in a while.

The worst customer service that I have experienced I quite sometime. I mistakenly call the Blizzard a flurry when ordering at the drive through, the young man responds with a very smart ass tone “we don’t have flurries we have blizzards” with enough attitude that made me say “you know what I am good” and pulled away. This is not the first time that we visited this location and was faced with some sort of attitude, but it is certainly the last time. The food was great—no complaints there—and the staff were kind, helpful, and doing their best under tough circumstances. But it had to be over 80 degrees inside the restaurant. It was so hot we had to take our food out to the car to eat. No ice cream today, because it would’ve melted before we got the lids on.
Whoever owns this location needs to step up. The employees deserve a working A/C and a comfortable, safe environment to work in. They’re doing their part—management should do theirs.

usually i love this place but i specially came on Monday cause they have a $2 discount on the tenders and fries basket. Tell me how my total price was $8. (the sign on the door says $5.99 on Mondays, it is in fact Monday) and i did ask how it’s $8, dude goes “i took $2 off, it’s $2 off on Mondays”. so there’s $2 in tax for my food? keep in mind i got JUST the basket and a cup of water (which i better not have just paid $2 for)

Every time we go there we notice the manager acting like he’d rather be having a root canal. They are always running out of items or the slushies are not frosty…mostly liquid. The managers additude is lousy, not even acknowledging customers waiting to order. Not a good place to go.

Peanut buster parfait from dairy Queen in Girard PA there was hair in my ice cream will not be coming back. The hair was mixed inside the caramel they were not wearing any type of hair nets they were wearing messy buns inside of the restaurant.

Me my dad and my sister sat at the speaker for 5 min before someone answers and when they did they told us to wait more then, finally we got our orders taken we get to the window get our two blizzards we pull off and the lid wasn’t even on all the way and went everywhere this is the 2nd time this has happened it’s ridiculous. It’s probably because they were sitting on there phone and talking to each other the WHOLE time and when the handed us our thing the girl at the window had her head turned the other way and was still talking instead of making sure everything was good. I don’t think we will be retreating to this establishment.

I would have recommended this Diary queen years ago. Not anymore the employees are rude. And when you ask questions they look at you like your stupid. As the staffing is now we won’t be going back until there are new staff or training done for them on how to properly treat customers.
