The staff is always incredibly polite and understanding, the food is on point, and the place always clean.
Last time I went at 9:10 (even thought they close at 30 after) and ordered a bunch of food and a heath brownie treat.
Rather than get any attitude or complaints from staff (because any of use that have worked food industry know how frustrating it is to have everything clean and preped for close only to fire everything back up again and clean it all once more) they topped my treat off with all sorts of goodness, the burger was bomb, the dr.pepper was crisp, fries hot and fresh out the oil… Reminded me of the dq I used to goto growing up in Texas…
They always have my back with great food, you should consider them as well.
The staff in there is polite and doing the best they can, they all seem to be young kids, maybe high school so I won’t put any blame on them as I remember what it was like working fast food as a teenager. My issue lies in the food. First of all, the bread was stale and definitely old. But more importantly, I found both a hair and a tick on my burger… definitely grossed me the hell out and I threw away practically the whole thing, as well as the fries and the drink because after that experience I don’t think my stomach could handle any more of what I had been given.
An unfortunate experience to say the absolute least, I didn’t go in and make a big deal of it because to be completely honest, I don’t have the energy for it. I figured instead of causing a big ruckus maybe writing a review that hopefully management will see would be a little better. Circling back to a point I made earlier, the staff are all kids, while I understand it’s easier to find staff who are underage for fast food establishments, there NEEDS to be at least one adult on shift at all times. Kids can only do so much, and should be supervised to ensure that all sanitary aspects are living up to expectations.
A few weeks ago, my husband brought home a box of ice cream sandwiches…a rare treat. They were great. Fresh crunchy cookie and nicely filled. This week we went back for two boxes, and dropped one at our neighbors, but what a disappointment. The ice cream was no thicker than a half inch and honestly for the price, I should have made the trip to the grocery store. Either the first box was a fluke or the next two were. I know it’s a small thing, but quality control allows consumers to know what to expect. Maybe I just lucked out the first time.
