In August 2025, we visited Dairy Queen in Seaside, Oregon. We had been boating and fishing in Astoria, Oregon, and we decided to buy strawberry milkshakes at Dairy Queen as we headed to Canon Beach, Oregon. The store was clean and well-maintained and the strawberry milkshakes were delicious. Thank you, Dairy Queen, for providing us with our milkshake refreshments.

Came in to grab dinner with the family before heading home. Walking in, there were three ladies. No greetings, no smiles. While ordering, she just kept saying ‘Anything else?’ She looked miserable.
I asked to use the restroom, but the restroom was so gross that I couldn’t go.

It’s horrible! There’s never any of there so I was confused on why our order took forever! Of course the blizzard was good but who could go wrong with ice cream! Other than that there service was absolutely terrible and very disrespectful. Happens every time I go in there. I keep giving it “another chance” and Everytime it’s worse then the last!!!

Gross and greasy! Our clothes smelled like dirty fryer grease after we left, the burger was OK at best and the rings, curds and fry’s were dripping with grease. Thank God for Tums, because that was the worst heartburn we’ve had in a looooong time!

The girl tonight was kinda rude.,I came in for a slushy and no voice. She wasn’t kind. The store was empty, not like she was busy.,this was my very first visit to a DQ.
I was raised and started work in the “ customer service era” there was zero of that. She placed my drink on the counter and walked off. I don’t think I will return. The world is full of unpleasant people. I try to avoid them at all costs.

Came here a few times in the last few months and always disappointed. Fries are always old, lettuce on the burgers is brown and soggy, and the beef is not good. The staff all feel like they don’t want to be there, except for the older man and woman who take themselves waaaaay to seriously and have a terrible attitude. They are losing locals daily and still don’t seem to care. If you live here or you’re passing by, just keep driving. Thanks

Absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at a Dairy Queen. To get deliberately treated bad just because you were making an order is ridiculous. They hated their lives and their jobs so much that they were treating customers like we were a bother to them and their time. After preparing our food they just let it sit there on the counter and melt. No one said our number, not once. I had to investigate in order to find out my food was ready. After calling the manager, i can see why all of the employees hate their job. The snarky attitude in her voice while I asked for my refund was astonishing. I got a call back only to hear how difficult it was for her to do her job and then I was ignored for a month. Later after contacting customer service, the manager then lied about calling me and leaving a voicemail. Finally after multiple attempts I got call from the owner. No wonder the entire store can’t provide customer service and kindness. The owner is just as bad. She blamed me for how the store handled the whole situation. I still haven’t received a refund.

The older Hispanic lady working nights obviously hates her job. She is so extremely rude and disrespectful. I cant stand her, I have given her several chances and shes rude every time. A lot of people have told me about her too and how unfriendly she is.

Very pleased with our meals here. We stopped a couple times while visiting the area. Like most businesses along the coast, they’re short-staffed here. But they work hard and are friendly. I was happy to come back a second time after first visit was so good.
