So I’m in town visiting and I thought I’d get a chicken strip basket for dinner. I pull up order then go up to the window and as I’m sitting at the window waiting for her to open it. I just see three of them chatting away like I’m not even there. She finally opens the window and takes my payment and checks the window OK then please start putting paper bags on their head and then one starts cutting one up to wear a different way and then another one comes out and goes to the front counter to start making a paper bag hat. And all I’m thinking is I’m hoping they’re not gonna put my food in this bag. There’s nothing wrong if you want to wear a bag on your head, you go for it but not at work and not in front of customers and then I got my food and it was lukewarm. The fries weren’t hot. Texas toast wasn’t toast. The chicken strips weren’t hot and it’s supposed to be fan food not fast food.

We got not for the food but for the ice cream. I have five people in my family and NOT ONCE have my order been completed correctly. Tonight’s order for example. I ordered a Royal New York Cheesecake blizzard. What did I get? A literal cup filled with nothing but vanilla ice cream. No cheesecake, no strawberry. We are done. They mess up our orders EVERY TIME.

Malted milkshake was decent for the price. Good whip cream, not the nasty waxy Burger King stuff.
The blizzard is still tasty too.
20 years ago we visited frequently when we lived nearby.
The interior could use some freshening up, nothing major just a new coat of paint, wax and polishing the floors would give it a noticeably nicer feel.

Went in side placed and order to go with Tyler S. Order a sundae when I placed order to go and a lady made my sundae and handed it to me. I stated that I was still waiting on my order, she got rude and said I should have told the cashier it was to go. If my order was to go you think the sundae was also. She had it in a too go cup with lid so not sure what this was about. I live around the corner and go there often and order the same thing and have never had to tell them the sundae was to go as its part of my too go order. I will not return as a patron. Tyler refused to give me her name so I could file a complaint first name was all I asked for and most places have name tags but not this dairy queen. Rude is not acceptable in a customer service setting. No one that I have encountered there have ever been rude until now.

They are always out of bananas. The staff seem like a bunch of kids that don’t care about food quality, or being friendly to customers. There has been one or two who did do a good job, but it seems to trend more in a negative direction there. I’m guessing it comes from upper management because it’s been like this since we started going there in 2019. They don’t flip Blizzards, which at one point meant you’d get a free Blizzard next visit… but when we pointed it out they just shrugged and closed the window.

What’s really bad about this place which isn’t much, if you have an almost $70 order they won’t take $100 bill. The next place I went to did. I guess if their boss found out they wouldn’t they be in trouble

Paid 3.50 for one strawberry & melted ice cream how disgusting , Gordon who claims he’s the owner of this Dairy Queen has a pitiful attitude & definitely shouldn’t be running a business. 10/10 would not recommend not only because of their horrible service but the quality of what comes out of it. Would definitely pick a different ice cream place.
