I had a fantastic experience at this Dairy Queen restaurant today. Despite the lunch rush, the employees were very professional, fast, and remarkably friendly. My Backyard Bacon Ranch Signature Burger was fresh and exactly as ordered. The ice cream was absolutely the best as well. Lastly, the entire restaurant, including the restroom, was super clean! I highly recommend this specific Dairy Queen!

I didn’t even mean to go here, but my toddler needed a bathroom so we stopped. This is the BEST DQ I have ever been to. In this post-covid era where all fast food restaurants are dirty, slow service, and rude customer service, this DQ is spotlessly clean (including the bathroom), food came out quickly and correctly, and the guys working here were so polite they could be corporate customer service trainers. Kudos to the owners of this location and their staff for doing a great job.

Big shout out to the crew at DQ! I am always telling people it’s the best burger in town. All of their food is classic and delicious. Don’t sleep on it and just get a Blizzard. Get some cheese curds and dunk them in there! 😉

Me and my other half win in there tonight to go. Get some food and his card kept declining. Because some kind of glitch in their system, but everybody else in there could pay. And we were charged twenty three dollars plus another seventeen cents, and they said that they were going to double charge us for food. That we didn’t pay for because of their system glitching on our card

I don’t eat fast food, I quite literally only come here to get a blizzard every now and then for a treat. I decided to go inside tonight, instead of the drive-thru. There was a tall guy with a ponytail and a short gal with short hair and a piercing working. The lobby was completely empty and the drive-thru as well. When I walked in I greeted them, and the guy was not even courteous enough to greet me back just very sternly said “it’ll be a minute”. I responded with a greeting again and he said the same thing very sternly again. I said “ok, a simple greeting would have been nice” and walked out. Very rude customer service here!

-Go anywhere else!-

The wife used to get blizzards and adored them. Lately, they aren’t mixed or have little to no ingredients in them (like an M&M will have 2 pieces of candy in the big cup of ice cream).

On top of that, I tried the malts from a different location and it was amazing. I decided to start ordering them from this place near my house. First order was the Large Hot Fudge Malt. They added barely any flavoring at all. It was disappointing. This time, I ordered a Large Hot Fudge Malt AND paid an extra dollar just to put extra hot fudge, that way I knew it would have enough of the flavoring. The delivery driver dropped our order off. My wife’s blizzard wasn’t even sealed (the driver had a picture showing that it wasn’t them, the location had the drink unsealed on the counter in the carrier). My malt was pure white. It was plain! Not even vanilla flavoring or anything. It tasted like frozen cream with malt powder.

It also took many phone calls over the course of an hour to finally get ahold of someone. When they finally answered, I asked what I just received since I ordered a Hot Fudge Malt with EXTRA fudge. The guy said “Ohhh….yeah. Well, if you bring it here I’ll replace it.” I explained that I don’t have a car, hence why I ordered a delivery. He told me that it’s either I walk the 2 miles there (I’m disabled using a cane by the way), or there’s absolutely nothing that he can do.

You read that right! No comping, no refund, no sending the driver back out, no emailed gift card for the amount of my drink, no store credit, absolutely nothing! This guy also said that he is the shift lead there. So he is in charge and refuses to make this right.

I will be calling corporate in the morning. Obviously someone needs to be retrained. Not only for quality control and ensuring orders are completed correctly, but also for how to properly take care of a situation. If they can screw up so badly multiple different days when someone simply orders 2 little cups, who knows how badly they will ruin your entire meal. Do not order from this location until the district manager gets involved.

EDIT TO ADD: The reply below from the alleged owner proves the lack of foresight and customer service in the situation. They say to contact the delivery service and that they have no control over that. Door dash would have no liability in the store making a mistake on the order. Therefore, they do not reissue a delivery for this. As for the other solution, the idea is “We completely ruined your order that you had delivered? Walk 2 miles down here and we’ll give you the same order.” No delivery, no meal thrown in (to a customer feels like they’re getting taken care of, to a store it costs around $1.12 in food / labor loss), nothing possibly extra at all. Simply to go all the way down there and back for your drinks they already screwed up. There are many options that can be utilized, I worked as a DM in the service industry for many years, the management of this establishment obviously does not wish to utilize their options. Instead, they do not mind losing customers while making excuses. Disgraceful.

I came to pick up an order for delivery, and instead of handing it to me through the door so I could leave, they told me to go to the drive-thru and wait in line for 40 minutes, even though the order was already ready and would be cold by the time I wasted 40 minutes of my life. I have no desire to ever come here again.

The food is what you’d expect from a DQ, but the store us usually staffed by young adults that can’t be bothered with customer service or urgency. But that’s fine, because they are probably not making a living wage and not being treated well throughout the day. It’s fine. Just don’t expect your dipped cone to be dipped all the way.

I’m not sure what happened because I’ve never had this happen at any other dairy queen…did they eat half my fries? Did I need 3 cups of gravy when I asked for ranch…they could’ve just said they didn’t have any.

Your commercials suckered me so, I tried the chicken tenders with fries and dipping sauce. I got the country gravy cuz it looked good on commercial. Tenders are a bit tough. Just so-so. I hate soggy fries and these were totally soggy. No crisp ones at all. The country gravy was bland. Not sure why you include a piece of toast that’s barely buttered. I also got a malt. I have found that places have no clue about malt flavor. You have to put a fair amount in to have it taste like a malt. This doesn’t. I’ve now tried Dairy Queen food and won’t again.
