Apparently this is the size of their chicken strips. I have been to plenty of DQ’s and this one is by far the worst one EVER! First of all that little tiny chicken strip counted as a strip. It was just a little longer than my pinky and the same width. Secondly, I asked for ranch. As soon as we got the food I dipped the tiny chicken strip in my “thought to have been ranch” and burned my mouth/lip because it was gravy! Then after addressing the sauce was supposed to be ranch, she said “oh sorry, we are out of ranch.” I’m thinking, why in the world did you not tell me that when you brought me the food! So I got a different sauce. My bfs grilled chicken sandwich smelled weird. Literally the tomato and lettuce smelled like it was going bad. The bun looked old. Literally ALL of the soda was flat so I went with the tea which actually tasted proper. The only redeemable part of this whole experience was their banana split. It actually tasted good. Only the ice cream was worth spending money on. Everything else was a complete waste. The combo chicken strip meal was $12.19 and my bfs sandwich was $5.99. The straws and this flying ant on them. At least they had two sections for the straws so we pulled from the other side. Over priced warm meal in my opinion. The staff was ok, the first girl who took our food order and brought us the food seemed like she hated being there. The girl who brought us the ice cream was a lot nicer but she seemed like she didn’t like being there either. We got stuck in this town due to a break down. Most places we have gone to eat, people here seem so unhappy. Only two places we have gone to people were normal in the sence they actually provided great, friendly customer service. Normally we love DQ and have no problems with the other locations we have been to but this one was horrible. I gave two stars since the ice cream and iced tea was good but if I hadn’t ordered the ice cream, it would have been one star.

If there was a negative, I would’ve left that instead.
Was never even acknowledged by the 2 cows tending to the front counter. Was there 11 minutes. I hope they love their job cuz I hardly think they’ll get anywhere with such poor work ethic.

I did drive thru. They were quick and the food was hot. I ordered the nachos which was delicious especially for a fast food restaurant. It has the perfect amount of cheese, meat, chips, tomatoes and jalapenos.

Food is great…when they get around to serving. Exceptionally slow service and they do not open on time. Waited outside for 10 minutes and called to see if they were just needing a little extra time, nobody answered. Two cars parked outside so I’m assuming there was at least one employee there, couldn’t be bothered to take an order though. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Dairy Queen has been a favorite since I moved to TX in the early 70’s. So while on the road and deciding to stop for a quick lunch in Ft. Stockton, my husband and I saw the DQ sign and simultaneously said, oooo steak fingers. So, we stopped had the Steak Finger basket, I tried a new flavor of shake Maple Cookie( it was really yummmy) my husband had Coke Zero and also a new flavor of Blizzard Caramel Toffee cookie (also yummmy). Servers were polite, even asked if we wanted to wait until after eating for our shake and blizzard. Food came out quickly, hot and fresh. We will stop again when traveling thru on I-10.
