Just got ice cream, but seemed like we were a burden to the staff. Glad we didnt get hot food just from observing the kitchen cleanliness. The ceiling tiles look to be dripping grease and cobwebs above the food prep area.

I can’t even tell you how long I waited in line at this Dairy Queen was not even busy. My fries were hot as hell and I’m grateful for that but my burger was cold and freaking nasty. What the hell Dairy Queen my God I could’ve understand if there was a long line and y’all were busy, but you weren’t, but my burger was cold and nasty as hell. I live right next-door you couldn’t make a fresh burger for real.

The food was made fresh but Dairy Queen food is horrible. Meaning the quality of meat pattie in burger are like hot cardboard and your steak finger you can change the name to batter fingers you can’t even taste the beef that use to be in them! Whatever happen to fresh hamburger meat in products but us the consumer have allowed fast food chains to serve the artificial they sale us!

Dairy Queen in Gonzalez. It was like stepping into the past when my parents took us as kids. It was almost the same layout as the DQ in San Marcos TX. Back in the 1970’s . Food was great. It was a good atmosphere.

I was dropped off at this Dairy Queen to wait for my ride from Houston. I was here the entire day waiting. I have to say that I have never been to a DQ that is this busy 1st of all. The staff were amazing to everyone. I listened for hours. Around 7pm Julian (the manager) asked if I was hungry. I was a little ashamed to answer because I didn’t have a dime in my pocket. He said he would take care of it. My heart dropped because where I am from , this would never happen and the fact that they were so caring that it restored my faith in humanity again . You see … I am not a poor person … I have an amazing job and I live in a mansion. I was waiting for someone to pick me up and they had my wallet and money… I don’t know how to repay anyone here but I promise that I will pay it forward. God bless this little town and the wonderful people that live here! Y’all were amazing to me and the next time I pass through .. you can bet I will stop in and eat!!! Great job!!!

I would have rated this lower than 1 star if I could. First of all we had to “pull around to the fence” for almost 30 minutes to wait for our food to be made which was one number 6 and one number 4. Seems simple enough. When we got back to our hotel everything we asked for was wrong. The food was completely un edible. I would not waste your money or your time! .

This is probably the nicest DQ I’ve ever eaten at. They actually serve your food on real plates instead of cardboard, and the food was very good. I’ll likely go back again.

We come into the DQ, one to three times a week, but NEVER again. We came in around 2:30 today to meet with our pastor about a memorial service. My brother ordered something to eat and a milk shake. Francis brought his food and after about ten minutes he went to the counter to ask about his shake. After about ten more minutes, she brought it. My brother asked her for a straw and she LOUDLY replied, if you want one they are over by the drinks. My brother is a veteran and has had several surgeries on his back, knees and hip. He can barely walk, but he went and got the straw, stopped by the counter and told Francis, it would be our last dealings with Gonzales DQ. That is certainly no way to conduct business or guarantee return customers. We are cured.
