The employees here are great. I wrote a similar review here a year ago, but I just need to add another. My daughter had a track meet at McHi yesterday. Her favorite treat/reward is always a blizzard, we came by after her last event. She was wearing her McAllen Memorial uniform along with her medals.
The cashier congratulated her, asked her about specifics regarding her events and placement. Telling her she was proud for her. While we waited for our order, the cashier came by and gave her a little extra treat as an award for her performance at the meet. My daughter just lit up with happiness.
Because it came from someone she did not know, or expect something from, it just meant so much more than if I had done it myself. Little gestures like that for our kids are priceless, makes me a customer for life for this location.

Went to DQ for a banana split — TWO strawberries and ONE pineapple, not rocket science. The girl making it looked like she was fighting for her life back there. Moving slower than the ice cream melting in front of her, with an attitude like I personally ruined her day just by ordering. If smiling is that hard, maybe try a job that doesn’t involve people. I waited forever for something that should’ve taken 60 seconds. Never again.

Took 15 min just place my order rhe line was so long. Got asked to move to the stop sign, 20 mjn later still no order while we keep seeing caramel behind me get their order faster. I absolutely believe they forgot about us. Got down to ask for a refund? NO apologies from the drive-thru staff (the employee at the counter was the one saying sorry and he has nothing to do with it). The employee from the drive through looked annoyed that I asked for a refund. I think 45 min to get “fast food” is a little too long. Sad because I go frequently with my daughter. Will need to find a new ice cream spot.

Been going to Dairy Queen for a while and I cant belive how bad it was for a Sunday. My food took forever to make plus it looks like everything was in chaos. As well I dont know whats going on that you have your staff acting like a couple kissing while im just there waiting.If this is a restaurant then you should reconside making changes. Overall bad experience

The girl at the window was extremely rude and unprofessional. She had no manners and acted annoyed the entire time, as if she didn’t want to be there at all. She acted like she didn’t understand Spanish, and handed everything over with clear attitude. Can’t even say thank you, she slammed the window shut. Customer service like this is unacceptable and really ruins the experience.

Me and my wife made it a tradition to go every Friday night and get the strawberry Sunday with caramel . We been doing this for almost 5 years now . I ordered something different last Friday it was terrible the presentation, the flote was half ways and melted…My wife laughed so hard you should have stick to the routine. Lesson learned..

Went to get 2 cones and my daughter said that she didn’t like it once I tasted it. The chocolate ice cream tasted so sour so we don’t know if it was already spoiled and they just sold it like that or what’s going on because the guy said that he went to go check it and they said that it was nothing wrong, but I still taste like it was so sour. And my daughter started feeling sick from her stomach, but she had already ate almost all of it, and she didn’t know until she almost finished it. I mean, she has autism and ADHD.

Got the 6 piece steak fingers meal dine in, left out napkins & fork
2 packs of ketchup, the gravy this time was watery no thickness, so took remaining part of my order to go and requested another gravy ,turns out they changed me 75 cents for the other gravy thought maybe it would be thicker but got home and it turned out it look more like milk

I am not one to usually leave bad reviews but I thought this should be known. An employee named Bryana was rude with costumers and not only that but a mother. She was rude in tone and and rolled her eyes. Nobody wants to walk in for some delicious ice cream and meet with a rude teenager that can’t even fake a smile for a customer. You lost a Number One Customer.
