Absolutely terrible. I live in Wharton, but frequent EC. And I have not, to this day, had a pleasant experience at this DQ location. I understand that fast food restaurants can be overwhelmed and overburdened. But I was the ONLY person in the drive thru. I ordered 3 tacos with no tomatoes, and what i recieved were these poor excuses of tacos that weren’t even prepared correctly and while they weren’t busy and had all the time in the world to get this right. I didn’t even get the chance to correct this issue seeing as I was already 15 miles away, at home. No excuses for this EC DQ.

I wish I had gotten the name of the sweet lady at the front counter. What a doll! Because it is Christmas Eve I called ahead to ensure they were open. I had already stopped at one Dairy Queen that was closed today. She was so helpful on the phone. When I arrived, I explained to her why I had called ahead. She gave me a giant smile and said she understood. She was helpful with my food order and pleasant to me and all of the other Christmas Eve customers. The restaurant is new and clean and shiny and the food was excellent.

Let’s get right into it. I come here for the awesome steak fingers and fries and gravy. It is always piping hot, and fresh. but lately they gave me old fries? and a small amount of fries with an 8 piece steak finger? (I order an extra large fry to make up for this but they must be fresh.) Toast is sometimes grilled sometimes not. The thing is I know the potential of this store, and this past time they knew they gave me old fries, and not the correct amount of steak fingers and when I told them, they said “so what do you want?” well that’s not the correct response.. first offer to remake the whole meal since things are different temps now. Offer the steak fingers I was shorted.. something, anything to show respect for the dollar.

I got the spicy tender basket and the chicken is spicy but no flavor.
The service was Amazing and when I left the guy behind the counter said, “God bless you and have a great evening.” You never hear that anymore and I want him to know he was heard and truly appreciated!! Please, keep it up!! We need more love and God in this world, that’s why this country is falling apart.

Okay let me explain…
Their Peanut Buster Parfait are supposed to be made with Hot Fudge not chocolate syrup
These last two times we went one of their employees is making them with Chocolate Syrup!
Then their Banana Splits are coming with half of halves of bananas instead of one whole banana and split into two pieces!!
Then their Tacos were cold by the time they gave us our order.
Other than that it’s okay ☺️

Went two nights in a row to get ice cream. Drove 30 minutes. Online the hours state they close at 11, we showed up at 10:30 and were told they were aware the hours online were wrong but they close at 10. Employees were extremely rude. We went back the next night for a second time to try again. We arrived at 9:30 and were told the ice cream machines turn off at 9 for maintenance. No apologies and rude employees again tonight. Apparently you can never get ice cream here! HORRIBLE experience and will NEVER be back. Hours should be updated and they should have a sign stating when their ice cream machine will be turned off “weekly for maintenance” since the employee stated this was at the same time every week. Disappointing.
