Stopped by for a Snicker’s Blizzard heading back to Houston. Young lady who waited on us and fixed our blizzards was very pleasant. The restroom was clean, but other than that, it was a typical Dairy Queen.

I haven’t been to this DQ in a very long time, but decided to give it a try today. I was so shocked and pleasantly surprised by the service I received! If you were the young man working the drive through on 7/1/25 around 4:20-4:30pm, I just want to let you know that you absolutely exceeded our expectations & made our day with your kindness. I haven’t had very many good experiences here in the past, but today definitely changed my perspective!

I had a terrible experience at this Dairy Queen. The lady who took my order was unbelievably slow and looked completely miserable the entire time. When I went to pay, my phone was close to the tap, and the payment went through automatically—I didn’t even do anything. Instead of handling it professionally, she scolded me and told me to “wait and be patient” in the rudest, most condescending tone. And as if that wasn’t enough, she kept saying “wait” over and over, like I didn’t get it the first time. I was shocked by how unprofessional and disrespectful she was. Definitely won’t be coming back. I didn’t get her name but she was older with grey hair and heavier set…

How hard is it to take an order and get it right the first time? This is my second time coming to this location and once again the order was as if a 1 year old made it. The young lady taking the orders tonight was rude and needs some home training. If you don’t like your job go find another one so someone can do it right the first time. Waited at the drive through sitting at the menu sign for 10 minutes before they finally took my order. Then didnt have the stuff to make a Hawaiian blizzard. Then another 15 minutes at the drive through window waiting for my food. Completely ridiculous! You better have 30 minutes at least to spare even if you are first in line.

I am shocked, SHOCKED, to give any fast food place a 5 star rating, but somehow, I had the best hamburger so far this year at this Dairy Queen. That the staff was quick and friendly is a bonus. If you don’t want fancy steak and seafood or Mexican food in Eagle Lake, this is a great option.
