We go here when we’re passing thru. Easy to get off and back on I-49. Plenty of businesses RIGHT there !
Sometimes it’s busy. The team is always busy taking care of business. They may be busy, but they’re friendly.
Good for ice creams or hot food. Even both !
The store is clean – inside, outside, and restrooms.
Plenty of indoor seating, even outdoor seating – weather permitting.
Convenient to gas stations and even hotels ( if you’re tired and want to stay the night).
Parking is easy. Big parking lot.
No playland, but very kid friendly. Besides what kid doesn’t like I’ve cream !

Pulled up to order in the drive thru. I was greeted rudely, and then I attempted to order. Had very unnecessarily unpleasant interactions with the young man and woman working the drive thru at 1:50pm on 9/7/25. I don’t eat at Dairy Queen often, so I guess they were frustrated with how I ordered. I pulled off without finishing my order. Great customer service can go a long way and they missed the whole mark.

We ordered and every item was wrong. We didn’t have any special requests, just two regular menu items and a shake. Got questioned about it when we said the things weren’t correct. We’re ordered two double burgers. We were charged for them, but we received singles. We asked and we’re treated like we made it up. And never got the correct items. We were polite, and the staff just seemed rude about everything. They forgot to bring out the milkshake when they did bring our food. (We had to pull into the spots to wait on the order after the drive through) and when we went in to ask for it, it was the same as the food. We were questioned and then they went back and found a milkshake. I say found because it was old, melted, and the whipped cream had separated. We didn’t even keep it. Just said no thanks and left.The entire experience was terrible.

Not sure if it was an off day or not. I was looking forward to eating a chicken basket because most of our area in Texas does not have a DQ anymore. The food wasn’t all that great and I feel I got “skimped” on the gravy.

Hands down best fast food in the whole parish. Fast friendly and clean. Definitely best burger in town even better than sit down restaurants. I don’t know who’s running this place but they need a raise.

This particular visit was just for blizzards. They couldn’t even get that right. It was sooo runny, like a milkshake. They didn’t put a lid on either one of them, just handed it out through the drive through with it melting and running down the cup. When I asked for lids, she just closed the windows and walked off. So I’m sitting there and she opens the windows and shoves two lids at me. When I take them, she shut the windows so fast, no here you go, sorry about that or thank you. Customer service is horrible in the evenings here! It’s always lacking, but evenings are worse. I think this trip was my last.

This Dairy Queen location is newly built and is a very nice facility. The staff were very friendly. I ordered a cheeseburger and chocolate coke, which the young man taking my order have never heard of but was accommodating when I explained it. My cheeseburger came out so smashed though, it was unbelievable. I know better than to expect high standards from fast for, but this was a little too “fast-food” to be acceptable.
