Stopped at this Dairy Queen on the way to Birmingham, easy access, you have to look for the signs, which are big ice cream cones to show you that there is a drive-through behind the store.
Like many older places, the speaker for the drive-through is a bit hard to hear.

It’s an average dairy queen. It’s fast food with your average fast food attitude and quality. The dairy queen in wetumpka alabama has far better service and food quality in my opinion. But this one I would not say is bad. Just meh.

The young lady up front was amazing! She is the sole reason they got an extra star. The back of the house seemed to be non-existent, so much so that the cashier had to go to the back and finish making our food. Not sure what’s happening here with management, but if this is DQ standards, you guys aren’t going to make it much longer. Can’t say I forsee visiting another one in the future.

Got a coupon for a purchase of a Small Blizzard at regular price and get a 2nd Small Blizzard for $1.99. In the e-mail offer it stated all I had to do was sign into Dairy Queen App and redeem coupon. I opened the App, but it didn’t show any coupon. The young lady working the counter sought out the manager. He came up and explained the issue once again. They had no idea why the coupon didn’t show up in App. They honored it finally but it wasn’t a good look for their App. After I returned home I’ve since removed the App. And another reason for removing it was that a Small Blizzard was $4.89, which is outrageous for such a small item and this freakin’ economy!

This place has been here a while. I used to live in this area but moved away with my family as a kid. Driving back home, my mom offered to get us some dessert. So we pulled in and got dessert and french fried. Super yummy. The staff was so friendly. We joked around, had a good time. Took a potty break and hit the road. It hit the spot. Highly recommend.

Nice experience. The food was fresh to order and staff was really nice. The restaurant was compliant withsocial distancing measures, with some booths closed and open ones with little cards letting you know the table had been sanitized. Of course the burger doesn’t look like the advertised picture, just like all other restaurants lol.
