I write this with a heavy heart, because I truly love Dairy Queen, and feel that in terms of fast food, Dairy Queen is the pinnacle of frozen treats! But my latest visit had me wanting to question myself. To be fair, I will speak of the good and the bad, for I still highly value Dairy Queen.
Good
During my visit, the service was surprisingly quick and the teller took the time to make sure my order was correct and precise. And the attendant that took our payment and handed our food was very sweet and understanding.
Bad
What hurt was when my wife tried to obtain a birthday cake for my birthday. She had ordered it online and when acknowledging it, other staff became hostile and told us that Dairy Queen does not accept online orders, despite having a confirmation number and verifying the correct location and pick up time. From that point on, staff was very hostile and accusatory, and even when I informed staff of a part of my order I paid for in addition to the cake, they were very hostile and verbally combative. Thankfully, the cake was not charged to my wife’s account until pickup, but we felt bad that we were treated so horribly.
In Conclusion
I still love Dairy Queen and I plan to go back later on. It may be a good moment though, but as far as big orders, I’m afraid I will have to look elsewhere. Customer service is so important.

We went for the ice cream just because we was trying to get home, I don’t think I would eat anything else though. I honestly drive to the other Dairy Queen most of the time. The staff are a lot nicer. Definitely more friendlier. And know how to make the ice cream AMAZING.. So when you can always go to the Dairy Queen on Shorter Ave. They are definitely ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The workers are trying to do their best during this trying times. The drive through line was exceptionally long. It took over a half hour to get to the order window and about 10 minutes more to get to the pick up window. Dairy Queen usually isn’t this long, and add to that the fact that some customers take forever to decide what to order. Please support your local companies during this pandemic season. They are counting on us to keep them afloat.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but there have been at least three occasions in the last two months when this Dairy Queen has closed before their scheduled time. It is run by a bunch of teenagers who don’t want to stay open until 10. One night they literally turned off the sign while I was waiting in line at 9:45 and told me when I got to the speaker that they weren’t taking any more orders. They are very unprofessional, and there does not seem to be any management present that cares about how the facility is run. I will be putting in a complaint with the daytime staff.

We had a pretty big order and the place was packed out busy during the Rona season. And of course we all wanted our burgers a certain way. And all wanted different blizzards. Everyone was super nice and our order was correct!

I’ve only ever gone through the drive thru, so I can’t speak to some other reviewers comments about the lack of cleanliness in the dining room. Drive thru service is always quick and friendly though, and the cold treats are consistently good, not that it’s easy to mess up ice cream.

Will not be going to the dairy Queen again. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, regular cheeseburger and a small drink. I was the only car in line when I pulled up. I had to wait about 7 minutes and was told to pull up because the cars were pulling up behind me. Waited another 7 minutes or so and a young lady brought out my food. Got home to find I had a cheeseburger and small fry and no double bacon cheeseburger! I live about 15 minutes away and didn’t want to drive back. Plus I didn’t even receive a receipt. 2 burgers and they can’t even bag 2 burgers correctly!!! SMH. I would of gave 0 stars but it want let you give them less than one.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could the guy at the window taking orders was flying high we had to repeat our order 6 times after we got to the window btw it was 2 drinks not complicated at all we ordered a float and a blizzard this was ridiculous we had to pay 2 times because it was only 2 drinks they brought it out to the car twice it was still wrong we ended up paying more than $8 for something we did not order. Dairy Queen needs to drug screen their employees! And maybe make them leave their phones in their pockets!!!

Food was good, but the facility did not appear very clean. The outside door was propped open. The bathroom was smelly. The blizzard machines did not appear to have been cleaned very recently. Can’t really recommend very highly.
