I came all the way from Auburn, AL to get me a WV slaw dog and I was not disappointed! Also snuck in a peanut buster parfait for good measure. Both were excellent! Reminded me of much younger days in WV.

Beautiful views of the New River from the dining area. Can see Ospreys,Blue Herons, Ducks, Kingfishers and Geese etc on the river. Breakfast lunch & dinner offered. Everything I’ve had is good. This is a unique DQ unparalleled to any I’ve been to.

This is the coolest Dairy Queen. It’s built overlooking the river and you have great views both from a patio area outside or either of the rooms that feature large glass windows and ample seating overlooking the river from inside the building.
We enjoyed eating here and watching the deer graze on the island at the middle of the river. The staff were super friendly and the food quality was surprisingly good!

I grew up going to this place on my way from one fishing hole to another. Two hotdogs all the way with fries! Go set on the deck and watch the beautiful New River floating by! Life sure is good….

Good stop in Hinton, I enjoyed it. I would come back for sure, the little hall could get a bit crowded, but the food comes out fast enough, so you won’t be there too long.

I couldn’t not come to my home state and not have Hinton Dairy Queen this is a hidden gem and they always have the best Food! The food came out super fast. Since I was a little kid I have always enjoyed sitting near the window to watch the river. Can’t wait to return!

Went on a Saturday evening got food drove 15 miles back to the place I was staying. Food was hard and looked gross. Was supposed to be 3 strips of chicken instead it was 1 small one and then two little round pieces. Ordered extra gravy not in there. Drove back next day to take the food back the guy acted like I was lying I even still had the food with me. Like what did I do eat the stuff then stop somewhere and replace the food…there wasn’t anything else open and it’s in the middle of nowhere. 2nd round of food was just as bad. Bread was burnt the chicken was hard and cold I drove 2 miles away and sat by the river to eat what I could. My blizzard was also melted when they gave it to me with no lid at all spilled in my car and made a mess. Never will I go again when I am in the area. Not to mention got there at 7:40 pm waited in line till 8:05 before I got to order then didn’t get the food till 8:22 pm. Then 2nd trip in line for another 20 mins to talk to manager.

The rating is mostly for the establishment itself. This is the nicest and biggest DQ I have ever seen. A Riverside View while you are dining in, awesome! The staff was friendly and the food and ice cream were good. Parking can be tricky.
