Absolutely love this location on the beach front! Took advantage of a winter day that spiked to 75 degrees and decided to head out to beach. We stopped here after for dessert. Perfect presentation and tasted delicious. Only tough part is the parking lot. Its timed to prevent tourists from camping. It’s a tight turn in.

I’m being a bit generous with this 3 star rating, as the establishment feels a bit run down and lacks some of the expected offerings, most notably, no chocolate soft serve. The closest option was a chocolate dipped vanilla cone, which isn’t quite the same.
There’s also no indoor seating; it’s strictly walk up service with order and pickup at the window. That may work fine for a quick stop, but it limits the experience if you’re hoping to sit and relax with your treat.
On the plus side, service was fast and friendly, and the location is very convenient, right near the Virginia Beach boardwalk and oceanfront. It’s a decent option for a quick fix, but don’t expect much more.

This use to be a go-to for soft serve whenever I visited the beach, literally steps from my hotel. They were closed even though maps showed them as open. Hotel management was even surprised when I told them they were closed. They even called and received “not receiving calls/disconnectens message”. I even saw other families walking over in the same disappointment as me. I think it’s safe to assume February is off-season at the beach.

Came here with my boyfriend and his brother and sister after some fun on the beach and we all had a pretty good experience. The service was very quick and efficient and we got our order in a timely matter considering there was a lot of people here. I got a vanilla milkshake and it was great. I would definitely come back again to try some of the food they have.

This Dairy Queen is located next to the boardwalk on the oceanfront that has counter ordering from the outside and a few outdoor tables. Service is what you would expect from an oceanfront fast food restaurant. The order took a little while to be delivered but everything ordered was correct. If you know Dairy Queen, you will know the type of fast food offered. You should note that prices are higher than normal due to the location.

Not quite sure why everyone is so upset. This was a perfect treat on a hot day at the beach. Yes it’s an older location but there’s a nostalgic feel to it. There was one worker but he was very quick. He made 3 blizzards in under 3 mins.

I should have read reviews before hand. Apparently they have not had chocolate ice cream for 3 years. $7 for a small chocolate (vanilla with chocolate syrup) and banana shake. Just WOW. Did not know. Now I do and will not get ice cream there again. Other than price and no chocolate, it is very a convenient place with great view.

So. Ice cream at the oceanfront right? Reliable ol’ Dairy Queen. Not here, at least not tonight. The ice tasted like they were using week old milk, and the fries seemed to have been soaking in their grease since summer started. Pick somewhere else for your ice cream fix, there’s a whole lot of better options here.
