While driving thru the area I saw this DQ and decided to run in and grab a Blizzard. I got their pumpkin Blizzard, since it’s that season now. Service was quick and efficient. The Blizzard tasted pretty good. It wasn’t served properly though, as I seem to recall they’re supposed to hand it to me upside down.
This DQ doesn’t seem to have more than ice crema here, so no burgers, etc. Overall, not a bad visit.

We stopped in for an ice cream to cool down after shopping. There are only 2 tables indoors. Luckily we came at an off time so we walked right in, got our treats, sat down and enjoyed!

Went in this evening to order with my husband and the white boy with short brown hair clearly seemed to have special needs but was the rudest person I’ve ever met. He made my order wrong and looked at me and said “dude there’s a reason I made it that way”, well first off I’m a female and secondly
I’m a paying customer. He also continued to mess up 3 others orders and make them sloppy as he could. Clearly he hates himself and his job. I know you can’t discriminate but maybe not hire someone with special needs with the attitude of a wet mop. Will NEVER come back to this location. Not that hard to press a lever to get ice cream into a cup.
Also store was NASTY and sticky. Calling better business bureau and the health inspector because that place was nasty. Go down the road to cold stone. No one here cares at all. Fire that boy he shouldn’t be in customer service.

Has the usual ice cream selection. Only outdoor seating. Inside seems a bit messy but you’re not inside long. Very kind and fast service!

If you want to be reminded what great service is come to the Dairy Queen in Glen Allen. When I needed a cake the next day for my wife’s birthday party, they did NOT say they needed 48 hours notice, but worked with me to make it happen. Also, they gave us the flavors we wanted as opposed to rigidly insisting on a standard menu. In short, great people and great service are always a winning combination.

This is my FIRST AND LAST experience at this location. After ordering myself and the employee both look down at the counter to see a ROACH just chillin…! YES A Live Moving ROACH! No apology or compensation for the bad experience at all. The employee acted like it was a normal thing. Just kill the Roach and move on. NOT WIPING THE COUNTER DOWN EITHER! Never again!!

Had called the store to place an order for a birthday cake for a surprise dinner next door to them and spoke with Princy. I ended up placing an online order with her on the phone for a pick up time hours later. She called me to make sure payment went through because she didn’t see the order shortly after hanging up. Went ahead and made the cake for me regardless of them having the order and she said she was positive the order would show up at the 5:00 pick up time. Princy really went above and beyond to make sure I was good to go! Everyone in the store was happy and was great when I got to the store to pick up cake.

When getting our ice cream blizzard the guy in front of me had ordered two ice cream sundies and a smoothie they handed it to him overfilled it was a mess before he could take it he had to clean the mess off the smoothie the worker made the smoothie was such a mess very poor job and they also ask for tips
