There’s a hole in my ice cream.
You can literally see the inside of the cone from the small scoop of ice cream they gave me. They didn’t make the ice cream, they just scooped a small amount and threw it in a pre-made Joy Brand waffle cone.
I don’t know what happened with them, but they fell off. No more homemade waffle cones?? No more kid-friendly eye-spy??? Smaller portions???? I would be willing to pay more for all of that, but nope, they’ve changed. I complained about it and they just shrugged and didn’t say anything. I think I’m gonna have to pass on Dairy Den for the future if they’re going to keep like this, it’s not worth it for me. All the charm isn’t there for me anymore.

We started coming here & eating here because they host our group, the Laingsburg Jeep Club, for gatherings. So we have always eaten outside. They do have good food & don’t forget the ice cream. I do not believe that they have a frier. So no french fries. For our club, they accommodate 40+ Jeeps & their owners & let us take over their parking lot & stay open late for us sometimes too! If the club is there, they are still open for everyone. We are not loud or unruly & do our best to keep out of the way. Thank you Dairy Den, for having us! Hope to be back soon. It was an absolute delightful lunch that I treated my mom too the day after Mother’s Day! The sandwich and ice cream were both delicious! The girl at the front counter was very accommodating and very patient with us & our requests. Highly recommend!

I have known the new owners of Dairy Den for most of my life. Both Stacey and Tom Brewer, Particularly Tom whom I have a close relationship with, he is a great human who cares for others in ways most could only wish for. He is level headed, hard working, and always does the right thing even when it’s the hard thing to do. For anyone who wants to visit Dairy Den for a snack, develop a working relationship, or maybe send your kids for a summer job, you won’t regret it…. What a great family, You’re going to thank your decision and appreciate the interactions. IFYKYK.

My family loves this place. The staff is welcoming, the food and ice cream is great. However, twice now I have ordered a swirl (to very much be confused with a twist) with vanilla ice cream and a topping. Both times I received twist ice cream. I understand the confusion, maybe a name change?? I’m not a fan of chocolate ice cream, around $8.00 thrown away…. Disappointing.

Was on a drive out here and showed up a few minutes before 2 waited in the lobby as they were helping a group of other people and when it was our turn they told us that they were closed from 2-4 for a birthday party and that they refused to serve us since we weren’t with the birthday party.

Delicious ice cream that hit the spot as the perfect late night camping treat! The owner is so personable and you can tell she has a love for some good cream so many awesome toppings that you don’t see at average ice cream shops. we will definitely be back, the birthday cake flavor was so tasty.

Update: My family came again tonight and I’m not a fan of sweets so I got the BLT instead… WOW! The bacon is pretty thin, but that sandwich was amazing! Mind blown! I’m very impressed. Will be ordering food here more often.
