Finally got my ground steak and at the right place, the man cooking ain’t much to look at but the wait staff will ease that pain. 4 of ate for 36 bucks can’t beat it!

Great old school little place for lunch. It was cold so I didn’t get ice cream, but I will next time! I did get the cheeseburger with coleslaw, yummy onion rings & very good sweet tea. $12 including tip, good deal and great service for a quick lunch.

Stopped to compare their cheeseburger to O’Dell’s. It was excellent. The slaw was slightly sweeter at Dairy Center and the chili was more flavorful. I liked the toasted and mashed bun. We had one with chili, mustard and slaw, and another with lettuce, tomato and mayo. Service was fast. Only six booths for dining-in and it got a bit loud, but there is plenty of memorabilia on the walls to check out. Prices were very reasonable. We decided the Dairy Center cheeseburger was the best in three places we tried in Mt. Airy.

Great little 50s style burger joint. Food is made to order and fantastic. The banana pudding ice cream is spot on. Will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area again!

I stopped at this restaurant for lunch today. I was very disappointed at the quality of my food. I ordered a hamburger. The burger was cold and the bun was wet and soggy. Someone did not drain the slaw which wet the bun. The burger tasted like it was precooked as it was cold as well. At least heat it back up on the grill before serving it to someone. I tried to eat half the burger and tossed the rest in the trash. Use to be a great place to eat.

Best hotdogs and ground beef sandwiches ever! This wasn’t our 1st time, nor will it be the last!!! Our waitress was a sweet girl, and we also met the owner/cook that was super friendly!
