Well I just had THE BEST strawberry ice cream I’ve had in a long time so that’s enough for me!
I asked specifically if their ice cream was made in house and the cashier said they all were except for some select flavors. Strawberry is one they do in house and it tastes way more like strawberries than most generic ones!

For the past couple of years, I feel that it has gone down a notch. I’ve been coming here for 20+ years. Still a great place for ice cream and the staff is really friendly, but the breaded pork tenderloin has gone downhill a bit. My hot fudge malt was fantastic. Prices are reasonable. A staple in Greencastle.

Dairy Castle is the BEST! We love that they pretty much have everything! Any kind of icecream specialty you can think of. Hot fudge banana shake is one of our favorites, or a banana split with strawberry icecream and chocolate topping! Only issue is that they don’t have indoor seating

I went there today for the first time in probably 6 years and it was absolutely amazing! The taco salad was delicious and they even went so far and to make me a strawberry coke with ice cream topping. It was definitely one of a kind and amazing!!! The manager, Stephen, was extremely nice and polite and checked with me several times to make sure everything was good and even went so far as to ask if there was anything to improve on and that he is always open to feedback and turning negatives into positives! All over wonderful experience!

Do you want overpriced, wrongly made food? You’ve found the PERFECT place! For one cheeseburger, fries, and a small shake – it cost $23 (they didn’t give me a receipt or offer me one otherwise I would attach a pic). They messed up my order twice (it took over 25 minutes to get my order. I used to love this place and especially as an ex-employee, I’m very disappointed with the quality of food. I’ve only been two other times since the new management and every time, it only leads to a new level of disappointment. It went from homemade style ice cream to a strange stringy texture the moment the new management took over.

We only ordered ice cream because since the new ownership, the cost of food is outrageous. The ice cream is getting that way as well! We have loved the coney dogs, but every time we got them, the hot dog buns are rock hard. And of course no phone number to contact them anymore!

I LOVE Dairy Castle!! The ice cream, mac and cheese bites, and the staff are all amazing. My friends and I go here multiple times a week to get our ice cream fix and support an amazing small business. One of my favorite spots in Greencastle!
