Both times I went, I’ve enjoyed the Hibachi presentation. Flame, twirling utensils, flying food all with a nice sense of humor makes for a fun time.
The food is good too. It’s not crazy over the top. I enjoy the simple seasonings, and the portions are enough for all but the very biggest of appetites. The prices are fair, especially if you enjoy the show that goes along with them.
The second time was a date. She had the sushi, and from what she said, was good, but not great. The spicy tuna I think. Her only bad comment on it was that it wasn’t all that spicy. Take that for what you’d like.

This place is the priciest place to eat in Salina. But it is worth every penny. The environment and show you get with your meal is amazing. If you want to do something for the kids as well they have an amazing time. I always order the ribeye and my wife loves the shrimp. This is a must eat place if you have never tried. Just don’t forget your checkbook!

The new Daimaru steakhouse is a huge improvement of their older building. Food has always been absolutely some of the best in Salina, but the restaurant was getting pretty old. The new one is gorgeous, very classy and very clean. Love the restaurant!
