Ngon!!! The fluffy egg coffee takes me back to stinking hot days in Hanoi, it’s a caffienated liquid pavolva of love. Great pho, a banging bahn mi, and sweet summer rolls with peanut sauce and fragrant lemongrass. This unassuming cafe does fresh and delicious vietnamese with decent portion sizes at a good price. I’ll definitely be back. Friendly staff, and the place feels authentic (even though the chairs are not the traditional plastic stools). Very satisfied and cured my craving for vietnamese.

Absolutely loved this little Vietnamese gem! I had a bowl of Bún Bò Huế – a spicy rice noodle soup – The broth was rich, full of flavour, and far more authentic than anything I’ve tried back in England. You can really taste the love and tradition in every spoonful.
It’s a small, family-run place, and the people there are incredibly warm and welcoming. We ended up chatting loads about life and culture – such genuine, friendly folks. They even treated me to a cup of Vietnamese iced coffee, which was sweet, smooth, and absolutely spot on.
Five stars for the food, and another five for the lovely atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend it more if you’re after proper, authentic Vietnamese cooking! ✨

AMAZING food! So fresh and flavourful,
our only negative is not trying daily Vietnamese cafe sooner. This place is a must try, we will absolutely be back.

Most authentic Vietnamese food in central Auckland without parking issues. Bang for your buck generous large portion yet no compromise in flavour!! I’ve been to Vietnam and this is close to authentic straight from a mother’s kitchen.

Tried this place for the first time as we had seen good reviews of the Bahn Mi. The pork belly Bahn mi was fresh and succulent and the sauce was a weird texture but flavoursome, but unfortunately I don’t like egg in Bahn mi and this one had an egg in it. The bread was a little hard to bite into but the friendly and hospitable customer service made up for it! Very friendly and hospitable staff. Quiet little eatery with not much of an ambience.

Cute Vietnamese eatery the banh mi rolls were good we had a chicken and a pork banh mi. Smoothies were nice asked for both to be served as takeaway but they only made one drink takeaway. Overall service was ok and it’s a nice little Vietnamese place.

Food is delicious and reasonable prices and very flavourful, although the bahn mi could have used a bit more flavour. The store sits about 4 to 5 tables and is very clean. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Great to see more food options on the main strip of Manukau Road.

Wanted to try Takashi next door but they were full. So we thought we would try it this Vietnamese Cafe. It was very disappointing, we should’ve waited for a table at Takashi.
My partner ordered the Bun Bo Hue and it wasn’t spicy. The pieces of beef that came with it were very fatty. It wasn’t edible and imo they shouldn’t have served it to the customer.
I ordered the Beef Pho and that was very underwhelming for the price I paid. Not only it came in a smaller bowl than my partner’s one it also came with very little beef in it.
If you are looking a Vietnamese eatery in Auckland I would give this place a miss. It was one of the most disappointing and expensive Vietnamese eatery I’ve been to in Auckland.

Not the best Vietnamese place in Auckland but happy with what I got for the price. I’d consider coming back to try some of their other dishes.
