The food itself is American homestyle diner food but it did not do anything to really catch my attention or pique my interest taste-wise. It was a plain/boring experience in my opinion in terms of taste, dampened by the 30+ minute wait for said food. (at least with the breakfast muffin and burrito) The staff seemed a bit unethused, but provided appropriate and polite service. I did not see the charm personally for this touted breakfast spot.

Decided to try here as the hot dog place around the corner always gives me attitude. Can’t believe how good it was! Under $10 and I had an amazing burger with shredded lettuce, fresh tomatoes on a huge grilled bun, with a side of long fresh fries fried to perfection. Was on a plate in less than 10 minutes. Fantastic spot, very nice people too.

Can’t rate the food because an hour after ordering and not getting our breakfast, we chose to leave. As we paid for drinks, my husband was told that we should have been told before ordering how long the wait would be, and that it is always that slow on the weekends. Mind you, the place was at least half empty when we finally decided to eat somewhere else. The food on other tables looked great. So, be prepared before you go.

The Daily Grind is unmatched! Maria and Becky are the best duo.. always friendly, always on top of it, and they make the whole place feel like home. The staff is amazing, the food is always great, and you can tell they truly care about their customers. Couldn’t ask for a better team!

Great local casual spot – I sat at the counter. I like sitting at counters. It’s gives me that old school feel. Plus, you get to watch them cook your food and chat with people.
I had corn beef hash, 2 eggs over easy, with dry rye toast. Also, a cup of coffee. Corn beef hash was fresh and NOT canned! Absolutely, DELISH!! I would definitely be a repeat customer here, if I got back to this area. Coffee was nice and strong, the way I like it.
