Ordered at 5:10pm at the kiosk and we were the only ones in the establishment. We didn’t get called until 6:05pm… almost an hour wait is unacceptable given the circumstances. We did see a couple of people coming in to pickup their takeout orders but it still doesn’t justify the long wait. There was only 1 person prepping the orders. The food was lukewarm at best when we got it and at that time it has gotten more busier (6 more people standing around waiting). The K-Pop sauce that came with the Beef Bulgogi Rice they had trouble finding and when we opened the lid it was cold and not appetizing at all (see pic) and the Tokyo Street Popcorn chicken looked nothing like the menu photo (see pic). We waited so long we vaguely remembered how each menu item was supposed to be and only realized later on at home.
If it wasn’t for two hungry kids we would’ve asked for a refund and left after waiting 30 mins. We fed the kids quickly and left with the rest of the food. After reheating the food at home the tacos we actually really tasty. Sad that we couldn’t enjoy it there.
I trust that all those 5-star reviews had great food but my family and I’m experience was the polar opposite. I left an extra Star solely on the tacos tasting great (after we reheated it ourselves). The person prepping the food should’ve had more help honestly and it would have been a completely different experience.
The service was ok, but I know this place just opened up, so there’s definitely room to improve. I’m a little disappointed because the flavor is great, but the texture really takes away from the dish. This isn’t meant as a bad review. I really hope they can work on the pork, because it has the potential to be amazing again like the first time I had it.
I ordered the Kimchi Fries, with Aïoli sauce on the side. The dish is created in front of you. The staff is friendly, attentive, and willing to answer any questions you may have. They also allow you to sample items. The Kimchi Fries were delicious. I truly enjoyed them. All of the ingredients tasted very fresh and of high quality!
Additionally, the atmosphere is clean, neat, and spacious. They have restrooms for customers, which can be a challenge to find in the city. Finally, my last favorite discovery here was that there are a bunch of board games, cards, etc. for utilize during your time there! I will absolutely be back.
Will definitely be coming back…
