Such an adorable place. Minimalistic typical of a Japanese restaurant. There’s a pond by the entrance. But what sets this place apart are the low tables where you fit on padded floor cushions on wooden backs. They even provide slippers for you to dog on the platform that’s lined with sisal mat. To the far end is a rock garden. Very zen indeed.
I was seated by the sushi bar. I had green tea. Waiting for my order of ramen with spicy miso. The umami orbits broth was great. I wish it had more crunch to it than just the kimchi. Also the pork was slightly cold, they didn’t warm up to temp with the broth.

Loved this authentic Japanese restaurant! Everything was delicious, my only complaint is that my ramen was too salty. I’m going to bring a friend and have them try the Ramen too, just to be sure. Haven’t tried their sushi yet, planning for next time, I’ll edit my review when I go again.

Had pretty good soba, with a delicious broth. The miso soup was very good. Spicy tuna roll is spicy due to what looks like red pepper flakes, and I did not like it. The California roll had a little too much mayo for my taste. The teriyaki chicken was ok, the teriyaki was watery and I think the chicken was boiled. I’d go back for the atmosphere but probably not the bulk of the food.

Felt like eating sashimi and decided to stop by Daikichi, since I was right in thr area. The server was very nice and helped me pick the dinner option and desert. Went with the sushi/sashimi dinner and green tea ice-cream crepe. I think the crepe is a meal itself!! Enjoyed the food.

I recently visited this Japanese restaurant and tried their lunch special, which included shrimp and veggie tempura along with katsu. The miso soup was definitely a highlight! Rich and flavorful! However, the side veggies were a bit bland, and while the tempura roll sushi was decent, it didn’t quite stand out. Overall, it was a solid experience, earning a 4-star rating for the good miso soup and the satisfying katsu and tempura. Would recommend for a casual lunch!

The place is nice and the servers are very friendly. They served us complimentary miso soup. We ordered some sushi and katsudon. They all taste great. I will definitely come back and try other sushi and food they serve.

Shashimi was awesome! They had toro tuna, the fatty belly meat. Ramen was very good but probably a wrong choice when it is 100 degrees out. Service was friendly and attentive.

I had high expectations and was really let down by this establishment. looked over the. entire menu and they don’t off a classic salmon roll, they also gave us a small plate of two yellow slices of “food” it was not food and should not be eaten or consumed by anyone! it was some type of “pickled vegetable” that actually smelled and tasted like dead fish. do not recommend eating!
