The food was pretty good and felt authentic.
The waitress (believe she is the owner) was not too friendly and we felt it had to be her way (table setup and empty plates taken away). She has the attitude.
The price was a bit high based on the food they serve. After tax and tips, it’s about $45 per person.
Also we waited for a long time before the first dish came while we were the first table for the night.

This was our first time here, and it’s officially our forever date spot! The food was incredibly fresh, and the service was absolutely amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Can’t wait to come back!

I almost want to gate keep this place.
I won’t say the food is closest to Japan because if I closed my eyes I wouldn’t know that this was not Japan.
We ordered the miso soup, salad, mixed tempura, beef teriyaki , edamame , tiger roll, kotatsu (fried chicken). Everything blew our minds.
Cannot recommend enough. 100/10

This is such a wonderful, family run, small business. Their food is consistently delicious, prepared to perfection and made of the best ingredients. I have not found better mackerel and fatty salmon nigiri. Their menu is so large, there is something for everyone. The kid’s plate is a lot of fun while exposing kids to new foods.

Their food is very nice, and reminded me of the food I ate in Japan, so I come here once in a while with friends and family.
Prices are decent, service is good, and their seafood is nice.
They have a lunch menu that’s great value, and a dinner menu that serves izakaya style dishes.
I will keep coming back here for more.

We love coming here for sushi. It’s in a little strip center in Cedar Park, but they have delicious sushi. The place is kind of small and intimate, so you may have to wait if it’s at a busy time. They have great happy hour specials and the kid options are good. Our kids love the tempura chicken and shrimp. We normally love the edamame, but it was a little dry and seemed overcooked. We love their specialty rolls and have tried almost all of them over time. Some favorites are Jennifer, fiesta, rainbow, rock and roll, red eye, spicy tuna and more. The service is great and the place is nice and clean, although it could you a refresh and touch up. Overall, a thumbs up.

This restaurant is exactly what you call a neighborhood hidden gem. Small place huge true authentic menu and reasonable price!!
You can tell this is not an Americanized Japanese restaurant with the menu and the service! Not every roll has mayo and deep fried and they even have full grilled squid and ginger pork.

Underrated sushi spot. Their fish quality is so good, and they give out thick pieces of fishes as well. This is our second time to Daichi and it surely isn’t our last. I would say to skip appetizers and ger their rolls/sashimis/nigiris bc they are surely worth your money. Nice folks so it feels good to be supporting them

Chirashi don is good with a decent price. Tofu is good too. Squid is ok tho. Can give it a try if you haven’t been here.
