In a nutshell; decent drinks, various food options, and a nice place to just hang out at or get take out.

Located at a Plaza so parking shouldn’t be an issue. Menu isnt too pricey and grabbing and food and snack or any of the food options shouldn’t run you a lot of money. I do appreciate that I was able to try all the sauces when getting the popcorn chicken which seems like a lot of places charge extra now for just sauces which is a shame so I applaud this place for not running it extra at least in my case, person who took my order was also great. Overall , would drop by again if I’m ever in the area and looking forward to try their other stuff.

Good food, large portions with enough to take home. The drinks are not as flavorful as other places, particularly the Yakult drinks which did not have much Yakult flavor. It was very warm and muggy inside, so it was a little uncomfortable to eat there on a warmer spring evening. We ended not finishing our meal and took it home to finish because my wife and kids were complaining about how hot and muggy they were. Overall a good place to get food, but their drinks are not as good as other Boba/Tea shops in town. Also for the comfort of customers, they should turn on the A/C (might have been broken, but I didn’t ask). We did like their food which was flavorful and would go back for their other food dishes, but may get our tea drinks elsewhere.

We love this place. It has great Boba tea amongst the bao buns that are sooo good. The prices are really affordable, especially for the good quality in food and size if boba drinks.
The owner is very accommodating. Once a friend ordered the wrong drink and he took it back and remade it without issue.
I highly recommend coming here.

This was the first we visited this restaurant. Actually, it’s more like pickup or delivery where there were limited tables to sit at and our food was packed to go. We chose to sit.

So we ordered Chicken and Tofu with Cold Boiled Egg over Rice, Beef Noodle Soup, and Braised Pork Belly and Chinese Sausage over Rice. The food was excellent, meat was tendered and well cooked! Especially the chicken.

With the chicken dish, I would love to have some veggies. There were none.

I would come back for a pick up or delivery but not to dine in.

Stopped by for a quick to-go order on our roadtrip. I was the only customer and my order took 30 minutes (dumplings, popcorn chicken, and bao). The best item was the chicken (even though a little heavy). Would worry about wait times during a busy hour.

Not a bad price for takeout. Through Fantuan $15 for a huge portion of noodles and $12 for 5 buns. That’s nice because it is a ways away.

The bun dough was not spongy and instead nicely bouncy and soft. Veggie had a lot of egg and the juices of the pork didn’t mush up the wrapper.
Noodles were very very large (the container is quite deep) but it was quite sweet. I did come with a lot of minced rendered pork and edamame giving it good variety in texture. Because it was so heavy and oily I added spinach and tofu to make it a bit lighter and to balance the sweetness and it was much better.

Not too sure if I’d come back, but I could see myself thinking about this place when I want buns.

This place is like a hidden little gem. The veggie options are delicious! We were particularly impressed with the veggie buns but the squash curry bowl and honey garlic eggplant bowl were amazing too. It’s also walkable to a huge park with a playground if coming with kiddos.

It’s so good You don’t find much places in Davis that have similar taste from Taiwan I’ve tried sausage&pork rice, buns, squash curry, lychee yakult, lemon aiyu, taro milk tea with boba. All are pretty nice.

Delicious food. I’ve been hooked since they opened. Must try the pork bao and saucy pork bao with dipping sauces, as well as the eggplant tofu and popcorn chicken. Thankful to have Dah Bao in the neighborhood.

The food and boba here are both incredible. Dah Bao is a small family owned business. All the employees were friendly, kind, and helpful. The noodle soup is super tasty, the broth is so full of flavor and the noodles have a great texture. We tried all the bao they were all so soft and fluffy with super flavorful filling. I got a mango matcha smoothie, a flavor I have never seen before, and it was super good! I would highly recommend Dah Bao for an amazing meal and fantastic boba!
