Great find on our road trip. The staff was very knowledgeable in Celiac Disease and gluten free food. They warned us about cross contamination for their bacon. They have a dedicated GF prep area and toaster. We had Italian sandwiches and amazing cauliflower/cheddar soup. The sandwich was wider than my mouth!

I order food here all the time. Its great! Always fresh and decently priced. Some may say its expensive but its honestly no more than you would spend at somewhere like subway and personally the food is much better and fresher here! I highly recommend!

Without a doubt, the best local eatery in all of Lapeer ❤️!!! All meat and produce is local and organic. The business is women owned by the sweetest mother-daughter duo. They also have a cute little coffee shop immediately attached and that’s also 10/10 amazing. Delicious homemade pop tarts!!!!! Peyton is a coffee chemist and the brightest person you’ll ever meet 🙂 ask about their sandwich of the week and soup of the day! i can’t wait for their fall specials to release!!!

I want to start off by saying I’ve frequented cream/dagwoods deli for years. The sandwiches are so yummy and I often find myself craving them! Main thing is they are super pricey. Over $30 for two cold cut sandwiches? And that’s without sides or drinks. That just seems like a lot for me. Especially in this economy. Their homemade pop tarts rung up to be over $12 for two. Two pop tarts are over $12? I know that price comes from the labor and love as well as the uniqueness of the flavors, but it’s hard to justify that price for a little sweet treat. I loved the flavor of their mixed berry tart, but today their flavors tasted really off like almost mildewy, not sure if it’s just my tastebuds though…

I have always loved Dagwood’s for a quick lunch stop. Recently, I chose to cater an employee appreciate event. Samantha was so helpful in choosing options that would go over well with a large group of people. As always, the portions were enormous and the ingredients were very fresh. A half sandwich is plenty per person when ordering for a meeting type setting. I received nothing but positive feedback from the group on the food. Lots of great feedback on the fan favorite, Downtown Avocado!

The “downtown avacado” and “not your average Italian” sandwich were delicious. It was the perfect place for a quick lunch date with my hubby.
We highly recommend trying one of the sandwiches!

Had the PBBJ, this sounds like kind of a kooky sandwich… and it is, but kooky in a delicious sort of “I would like another” kind of way. I added cheddar cheese to mine, and it seemed that the creativity was celebrated with staff too. This is a must see/taste for any deli sammich shoppe lover.

Amazing food, my friend is a pescatarian, he had the albacore tuna sandwich with the poblano & white cheddar soup. I enjoyed a vegetarian sandwich with turkey on a great whole grain bread. They have a build your own sandwich menu so everything works! The food is friendly both in the serving size and the price. 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup was $7.41
Service, Very kind, and friendly, ready to help with a smile. Can’t say enough….
Revisited Dagwood, another fantastic lunch. They now have a bakery area in the front of the store. The fresh baked breads are delicious and there are enough sweets for sale in “ Blondies” area of the store to satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth, ice cream too!!
So to recap the best of both worlds local fresh sandwiches organic and delish with the option of some sweets, enjoy!

Delicious, very well made sandwiches! And I am very picky when it comes to sandwiches. This place is the best, they have the Great Lakes Chip Co. chips there too which are my most favorite and I absolutely love the shop that’s in front as well Blondie’s.
